We just asked if everyone could shove a little hand sanitiser on before holding my little brother, everyone complied no questions asked. That was a good way around the hand washing, but still keeping baby safe from germs❤️

We used the Aldi nappies for size 1,2 & 3 then we switched to rascal & friends nappies in Tesco for size 4 and above as the Aldi size 4+ were different & not as good as the smaller sized ones xxx

I have sanitiser by door and ask people to use it when they come in 😅 me and my husband would loveeeee a baby 😢 & we always talk about not wanting people to kiss them etc but how do you say that to family. My friends thats easy my family easy! But how do i say to my in laws etc please dont kiss them

i really really hope your family stick to their words and respect your rules, cause mine sure don't , my MIL wanted to be at the birth and i said no i even told my partner i didnt want anyone there or visit after either , ...yeah 30mins later still covered in blood and sweat and half out of it , my MIL showed up thankfully i had a nurse who came in to help with breastfeeding and she kinda felt the need to leave then after 15mins. ( everyone keeps saying to me for everything that happens... she's just excited she doesn't mean harm ect i get that as its her first grandchild.. but i was excited to for all these 1sr moments with just me n my partner ...that i ended up resenting her a bit ...we still get along but she can be very overwhelming she will want to see him like 3 times a week which might not sound like much to some but to me its alot especially as my partner has gone back to work it means im stuck in cause she wants to come over and if i say i'm going out she will wait for me to get home or ask when im home so then i have to rush back... honestly drives me nuts. also i said several times he wouldn't be staying the night at hers till hes at least 1 unless i change MY MIND , he's 5 months and she's asked about 3 times and then is like why don't you trust me .... has nothing to od with trust but while im off work i want to spend my time with him and i'm not ready in general but it makes me look insane because i wont let anyone have him. at first my partner would stand up for me now hes like ill ask her and then she knows its me saying no .. also my stayed in hospital for a week and i didnt want visitors because the birth was bad enough but again .... did not happen and as for washing hands and kissing them no one listens to me .. i feel like i have no say in my own child some days
