Oh hey thanks for uploading this! I was debating buying it when it comes out but was able to determine the sound effects would drive me nuts (something about the repeating same stock wolf and red tailed hawk noises and the ABSURDLY DEEP over the top main character voice is just personally grating to me) so this was actually super helpful. It does look like a nice game for those who are less annoyed by those things, though! Hopefully they do fix up the sounds before release. Winter survival games are a persistent love of mine.

I find it a bit hard these days to watch fisk's videos, even tho i loooove the content.. My problem is that the content seems to be all over the place, new survival game, one after another.. I miss some nice series. I know i could watch streams like that, but it's not the same. And i know, there may be some ongoing series, but since it's been all over the place, i don't know anymore. It doesn't help that there is no name of the game on the title, tho i guess it's kinda normal not to but it in it. Love Fisk, tho. Such a mediocre beef boy.

LAND OF THE FREE MFER! Fisk I’m just saying but imo The Long Dark survival mode is the main game and story mode is a side thing, if you haven’t played survival mode I highly recommend it. It’s more updated than story mode in terms of mechanics.

11:14 - Which province did you live in Canada? Also love your Long Dark content; I replay it pretty often and the challenges are fun and quick. I live above New York state...We definitely have a lot of similar wildlife...I'm getting Yukon vibes though...It seems further up (we don't have wolves here.). I almost took an internship at a museum/ranger station there.

That weapon skin is a beretta 92/m9. However the weapon is refered to as the 1911 in game for some reason. The two weapons fire different calibers. 9mm and .45 acp respectively. The ammo capacity would vary greatly as well as the 1911 holds 7-8 rounds and the beretta would hold 16-17.

The rifle is an svd though in the wrong caliber. Should be in 7.62 ×54R not 5.56

It's hilarious that you find a house with a bed, blankets, probably a stove or fireplace, but the game is like: gather scrap metal by destroying the stove so you might be able to build something out of it. What - like maybe a stove Later: You've found a ski resort with fully operating saunas and a nice restaurant, but you have to tear the wood from the sauna walls so you can build a campfire that will last 5 minutes... to cook the roadkill that you found.

This looks like one of those games i would play with the music turned off. You wouldn't be listening to music if you were actually experiencing what was happening in this game would you? I'd expect you would want to be able to hear if something was coming at you if you hadn't seen it first.
