I started watching this with my grandmother back in the 70s and was hooked till it ended. I even used the name "Mitch Blake" for a band I was in back in the late 80s.

Wow thanks Eddie D. what a great episode so many memories of this classy show & cast!!! I was a HUGE fan of the beautiful stunning Anna Stuart who played Donna Love & enjoyed seeing handsome David Oliver again as Perry may he Rest in Peace forever. Mac (Doug Watson) was such a great orator. Mac's toasts are iconic in all of daytime history. Regardless of the words, Doug made them come to life in his toasts.

Eddie, thank you so much for sharing this wonderful "Another World" 1983 episode! Mac is a very classy and distinguished man, and his toast to the new Royal hotel was so eloquent and dignified! Perry had a rough situation to navigate, and I do not know why either Sandy or Jamie did not handle this drug possession situation with Ted.

I forgot Carl arrived in Bay City as early as 1983! I love hearing Rachel and Mac debate Carl about urban planning and historic preservation... Mac even using the terms urban development and urban planning! Donna always concerned about social status and appearing on Brian's arm because he was mayor of Bay City. The old Bay City - the Corys, all of the Loves, the Ewings, Brian and Ted Bancroft, Cecil, and the beginning of Carl in Bay City.

This is better than finding that episode with the 2nd Iris, Carole Shelley!! I AM A HUGE DONNA FAN and to see the OG Nicole Love ( who went on to play Channing on The Colbys) is a definite treat. Now I just need to see Rhonda Levin as both Vicky and Marley and I'd be set.....for awhile.

@@brotherofjunk I read that she did very briefly. I find that interesting too, considering that Marley supposedly had left town with Jake, which was how Ellen Wheeler's Marley was written out. I could be wrong regarding Rhonda being Marley though.

A bit late, but here is your answer. Donna basically blackmailed Sally with news about her biological son, Kevin Thatcher, whose father was David. David was raising Kevin with his wife, Jennifer. I believe that he ended up killing her. Eventually, Peter found out that Sally was lying to him about her son and they broke it off. Sally and David were about to be married -- and Sally broke it off at their wedding as Caitlin entered the story.
