Anyone else recognize the music as the opening from the movie On Golden Pond? Such a beautiful scene. RIP Douglass Watson.

Yup I saw the "Mac Montage" and I shed a tear. It's been 35 years , and I still shed a tear. I did then, I did now.

What a tragic loss for Another World in 1989 when Mac and Douglas Watson passed away.

Victoria's tears were oh oh so so real. Her acting partner of 20+ years and her friend gone.

Oh denzo30........ You could not be more wrong. Vicky and Doug were very close. She was a part of his family. Those tears were very, very real. She was devastated.

+Tina Gray Very true Tina. I don't know how the cast did not break down for the 25th annivesary episodes. I have wathced Another World since 1979, and it was the best soap when they feaured the Mac Iris, and Rachel storylines.

tears only flowing on one side of the face. Not real. in the real world, we would not notice this until watching over and over. Not saying Whyndham didnt love watson but they are not real tears

denzo30 No, if you look at the very last part of the scene (as opposed to when only her left side faced the camera when she read the letter) she was crying. She looked like she was trying like hell just to get the words out. When you watch the episodes addressing Mac’s death, Victoria Wyndham, Constance Ford, and Matt Crane were so distraught it didn’t even seem like acting.
@ryanwolff4058 Жыл бұрын
Victoria had worked with Doug for 16 years and said how he was family to her. She'd said Doug could drive her crazy like her own children. And, I agree that Victoria, Constance, and Matt Crane were genuinely crying during their scenes - watching Matt and Constance in the scene at the house before the funeral - you could see how devastated they were

You do not know that. They worked together for 20 years.
