It’s a form of emotional abuse. My parents did this to me all the time in order to control and manipulate situations in order for them to feel strong. It’s a total ego thing. Are you serious?!🧐 Today I traveled in my old neighborhood… a famous street got renamed/temporarily, with a bright yellow sign “yellow brick road”…. I laughed then. I can also remember being in my 20’s as a teacher in training and being told that my running away from a highly abusive lead teacher was being too sensitive, which made me feel more ashamed and embarrassed than I already did which is why I ran away in the first place. My sweet, 80 year supervising teacher meant well but people from that generation in the 90’s were so blind and even being so sweet, she was also so shallow because of her blindness.

The *key* actually made more sense than you could possibly know--well, not necessarily YOU, Chan, because you have such incredible guidance, so yeah, lol! But when you mentioned it being kind of a very weird message, it didn't feel weird or strange to me at all; in fact, diving into self-discovery has been top of the list for these 2 ♍️s for the past month or so. 🤭 And very Interestingly, there was a card I saw recently (forgive me, can't remember which card or what deck) that was practically like a map legend for things that happened in my early life.
