Incredible exchange between piano and oud - and the most subtle support from drums and double bass. Beautiful to watch, exquisite to the ears.And then the involvement of all four in the last third. Beautiful!

It's been so long since I listened to Anouar Brahem... I had his first album (Berzakh) on Vinyl, and kept listening for these decades... and completely forgot he was still making music. And What music!!!! This is wonderful. and Dave holland is a miracle. really. and so are all the others. Here Mr. Brahem's playback is more of a "conductor's role" than a lead voice, but all in all this is a masterpiece.
