This concert has always been on my mind, but never knew that its archived here on KZbin. Sometimes, you feel like KZbin reads your mind. I was at this concert. Experiencing this band in the beautiful Stern Grove setting was heavenly. I only remembered Karsh and Anoushka from the concert. Back then I didn't realize it was Salim Merchant who was playing the keys. So cool!

not that I know much about Indian Classical Music Theory but does anyone here know what raga this is ? It’s Certainly Different. Let’s see: 1:b2:3:#4:#5:#6:8. But I have something wrong in the 5-6-8 area. A beautiful, ominous scale. Perfect for the quiet drippy, moody environment of Stern Grove. Although they certainly Lit It Up, didn’t they? I LIVE (T)HERE! I can’t believe I missed this concert. AND THE STERN GROVE SHOWS ARE FREE, produced by the City of SF. !
