Anse Severe beach - one of the best snorkeling spots on La Digue, Seychelles

Surrounded by takamakas and with shallow water, Anse Severe is one of the most popular beaches on the island. It’s a great place for snorkeling and relaxing. The reef is close to the shore and easy to reach. The best time for snorkeling is during low tide. There are some pretty nice beach bars around and a couple of giant turtles roam free in this area. Although you can spend a full day here, it's important to be aware that the beautiful white sandy beach can disappear in the afternoon, during high tide.
