Hi doctor. I'm from trinidad and i have been diagnosed for about 5yrs now. Of course i have hypothyroidism and i also have hbp and type2 diabetes. Im on atleast 5 medications for all my complications. Im on eutirox 50mg. Increasing the dose does not help my symptoms. Fatigue, hairloss, cravings,body pains,swelling of both my feet,low libido,gut issues such as bloating. I do use probiotics but i get relief only for sometime and there are days i will get diarrhoea because of the probiotics

What about if someone is taking compounded liothyronine, but the ft3 and ft4 kept dropping ,remain below normal, or are barely move upwards despite working up to 45mcg and taking cofactors? Also where in the gut does the conversion take place: small intestine or large intestines?

My thyroid gland was removed, though there is more to that srory, ever since then my life has been upended. Levothyroxine never work for me, so much serious side effect inflammation, heart palpitations, confudion etc. If i dont take it sluggishness, fatigue etc. I begged them to change it but they said no, is UK by the way. And having to use different brand of it make it even worse cos I reacted worst to some than some. But it is negative reaction all the time. I pray the thyroid gland grows back like my mums one did after removal.
