Very good but very hard hills to climb and the heavy vehicles had no chance . What happened to the Suzuki Vitara , it probably would not make a lot of hills but i would like to see anyway because i have one :-)

Stephen Kite, we have 2 Vitaras in our group, the one that went to sand dunes with us (the owner is travelling to the US at the moment) and Anup paaji has one too (Gypsy/Zook driver in this video, he rarely uses Vitara for off-road since Gypsy is for this specific purpose).

4:34. With automatics you need to shift to one. That allows engine braking. Gone over steeper slopes in Qatar in first gear. Next time go down in one on 4H and you will be able to control the momentum so you dont hit anything at the end of the slope.

First cars always defines the track, the driver finds a technique/combination that works and defines it to others. Now lets talk about last climb, I did the climb first and conveyed the technique to others, it worked well for cars with Manual transmission, if you send me in last I can do it unless its badly damaged which it wasnt as we were not allowing excessive wheelspin. First car has least steering control and can end up in a ditch/topple, so we cannot randomly send anyone.

Black smoke is perfectly fine on a Diesel car, especially if the car is remapped there will be short bursts of black smoke because of aggressive Air to Diesel ratio for a split second, none of this is alarming.
