edit ; I came back to see how this is doing and I'm so glad people learned something new out of this song. Tragedies like these are depressing, of course, but it's important to learn from these so mistakes don't happen again. Learn history y'all, it's worth it, and it might prevent a problem from repeating itself. 1-12-21 Edit 2: Lmao, I got into college a while back and am going to pursue a history major. Not saying that this comment made me realize I like history, but it definitely did contribute for my interest and passion for it (both this song, learning Abt the event itself and being able to share it w everyone). It made a meaningful song more meaningful. It's crazy to think I left this comment when I was first starting HS and now I'm Abt to leave this chapter in my life. 4/4/24 For those who don't know, Hindenburg was an airship that was leaving Germany to America. It used hydrogen gas to help bring it up, but the thing is, hydrogen gas is flammable but Helium was expensive at the time.. Throughout the journey, everything was fine. There were a few storms here and there. When they reached America, I think a field in New Jersey was where they were going to land. When they were preparing to land, a storm was coming onto new Jersey. It was mostly just wind but also rain. Some of the co-pilot people were debating if they should hold off the landing, but the pilot wanted to land, and not get late. They had to maneuver sharply around the wind and stuff, and during that turn, little under 100 feet off the ground I think, Hindenburg blew up in Flames. People jumped out of the ship, many burned and died. The journey had been amazing throughout the entire time, and minutes from landing, they burned. Americans and Immigrants waiting on the ground had watched, terrified, as people burned, and attempted to jump out the ship. The reason it had burned up in flames, the skin, some type of cotton and linen fabric had charged up during the storms on the sea. They had also noticed how the ship was somewhat tilted at the end of the journey. Later on, it revealed that at the end, the fabric that held the hydogen had ripping because a rope or wire had snapped, ripping one gas bag that held the Helium Gas, which leaked onto the fuel. The static had sparked it into a fire. If I missed or misinformed anything, let me know! :) Little edit: Thanks for all those likes! I am glad that you guys are learning about history and correcting me on what location it was to land on. There is a documentary on youtube about this, I believe, which gives probably more explanation and story about it :)

I was reading through these comments and realised there’s another meaning to this than I thought. I never knew of the Hindenburg accident. I was close to tears when I really thought about those lyrics, the Hindenburg caught fire, and you, Anson, are talking about the ashes of your love. This made me wonder if he wanted to say his lover died onboard, and he was looking through the wreckage of it trying to find her xxxxxxxxxxxxx Anson you are incredible, I’m not going to ruin this by swearing, but Who cares about the people who want to give you hate, you are exceptionally talented with your voice and word choice xxx never let anybody tell you you’re less than we know you are xxxxx

Yeah, we were invincible That's what they said So indivisible Wherever we went Higher and higher, yeah I guess that we had it all Light up the sky and then We thought that we'd never fall You were my Hindenburg lover, we were flying away Then we took a wrong turn and it was all up in flames And now I'm staring at the wreckage tryin' to make it okay Oh, yeah And I guess I got burned from the scars on my heart And I'd be lyin' if I said I didn't know from the start That there was something in between us that would tear us apart Oh, yeah I can still see your face Looking back through the flames And I search it Was it worth it? No I don't mind the smoke But your tears make me choke Are you okay? Should I go away? Yeah, we were invincible That's what they said So indivisible Wherever we went Higher and higher, yeah We thought that we'd never fall Light up the sky and then I guess that we had it all You were my Hindenburg lover we were flying away But then we took a wrong turn and it was all up in flames And now I'm staring at the wreckage tryin' make it okay Oh, yeah And I guess I got burned from the scars on my heart And I'd be lying if I said I didn't know from the start That there was something in between us that would keep us apart Oh, yeah You were my Hindenburg lover we were flying away But then we took a wrong turn and it was all up in flames And now I'm staring at the wreckage tryin' make it okay Oh, yeah And I guess I got burned from the scars on my heart And I'd be lying if I said I didn't know from the start That there was something in between us that would keep us apart Oh, yeah

To my Hindenburg lover who passed away when we took a wrong turn. I’m sorry we thought that we were just indivisible and invincible…forever and always, always and forever. I love you to the moon and back.

In my opinion, I think this song is supposed to be about a man that loved a girl. And had arguments a lot. That girl didn’t think he loved her. But she was angry but they went on this ship. And then she realised in those last 2 minutes of her life she loved him. He survived and still missed her. :(

Once upon a time there was a girl listening to a Sasha Sloan radio on Spotify and then Wonderland popped up and she fell in love with it! Then Robin hood came on a little later and she loved it! That's the story of how I found Anson! I feel comforted by your voice when I listen to your music

Anson's music has gotten me through a lot these past few years. When I first found his music, the first song I listened to was "Welcome to Wonderland." That song helped me escape reality. But I started listening to more of his songs. I cried, laughed, and loved through them all. Anson Seabra, you're truly an inspiration. One day, I hope you make history. ❤️

I never had a song made me cry. Listening to Welcome to Wonderland made me ball. It brought out so much emotions in me. I love yr songs. Yr lyrics. Your music. Your art. Your heart. So many layers. It's a talent. Dont let anything esp money, fame taint this.

Just broke up. Came back to this song to think about what our love life is. I'm the one who initiate the broke up just so you guys know. We're just torturing each other at this point. She hates the little thing I do while I kept my feelings away from her. We tried to change but who exactly can change their personality. We're probably like Hindenburg. Elegant in other ppls eyes but dangerous and easily flammable in the inside. Things were not going so good between us. She begged me to stay. But ik it's just gonna burn more.

[Verse 1] We were floating for days We were flying the way That doves do And I loved you We were sailing the sky Watch the clouds passing by Like a dreamland Where should we land [Pre-Chorus] We were invincible That’s what they said So indivisible Wherever we went Higher and higher, yeah I guess that we had it all Light up the sky and then We thought that we’d never fall [Chorus] You were my Hindenburg lover we were flyin' away Then we took a wrong turn and it was all up in flames And now I’m starin' at the wreckage tryin' make it okay Oh, yeah And I guess I got burned from the scars on my heart And I’d be lyin' if I said I didn’t know from the start That there was something in between us that would tear us apart Oh, yeah [Verse 2] I can still see your face Looking back through the flames And I search it Was it worth it No I don’t mind the smoke But your tears make me choke Are you okay? Should I go away? [Pre-Chorus] We were invincible That’s what they said So indivisible Wherever we went Higher and higher, yeah We thought that we’d never fall Light up the sky and then I guess that we had it all [Chorus] You were my Hindenburg lover we were flyin' away But then we took a wrong turn and it was all up in flames And now I’m starin' at the wreckage tryin' make it okay Oh, yeah And I guess I got burned from the scars on my heart And I’d be lyin' if I said I didn’t know from the start That there was something in between us that would keep us apart Oh, yeah You were my Hindenburg lover we were flyin' away But then we took a wrong turn and it was all up in flames And now I’m starin' at the wreckage tryin' make it okay Oh, yeah And I guess I got burned from the scars on my heart And I’d be lyin' if I said I didn’t know from the start That there was something in between us that would keep us apart Oh, yeah

"…Your tears make me choke... Are you okay? Should I go away?" This were those people who thought that they seem to hurt anyone around them that they just decide to walk away feeling useless and socially discriminated.
