Dear Anson, just wanted to say that this album resonates deeply in my heart, aching with pain. I totally love the songs you create. I was never in love, but all my feelings were real. It never passed the crush stage with the boy, but it was both mutal. Then I just messed things up with my insecurities and I regret things. I constantly wondered if things with him can become better, or maybe it was just bad luck and everything is over. And maybe we could have been a thing if an alternative universe... A little tardy to the party but this comment resonated with me the most. The words you’ve said perfectly encapsulates the past few weeks recently. There was a girl I fell in love with and the relationship died seemingly out of nowhere. I still wish that things could’ve gone differently and that things did go differently in some other timeline. Anson we've never met but idk why your music somehow exactly aligns with what i'm going through. everytime you release a new song, i am always surprised how it becomes a way I get to process all the feelings I'm going through. I still remember when you released 'hard to be human' , i was going through a lot of failure and that song became my comfort.
