Excellent. Concise. Efficient. Question: I find that when I share a file, the recipient has access to my ENTIRE drive! How do I limit access to only the file shared?

You must be sharing a folder (probably the My Drive folder) and not just a single file with them. Make sure you right click on the specific file you'd like to share or have it open and click share.

When the teacher send the file, I can't edit it. I can see other working on it except for me. When I try to edit it just highlights the text and nothing else.

Hi, Anson, nice video. I have a question. My google drive is showing an error. it says you are offline. I cananot upload files to Google drive and cannot share the links of files. Sometimes it says the server encountered an error, and sometimes you are offline. How can I solve this as I need Google drive for my work. Thanks.

Yes. It appears for them at the Shared Items area. If they want to download them to the desktop app they need to create a new folder in their drive and move it to there
