Compared to Techmoan's Answer 3 in 1 this is Hi-Fi. With no real platter I'm amazed it works so well.

I had one of these many moons ago - I guess it must have been the Commodore model because it was a cheaper build than this one, all plastic. I remember the rubber wheel running on the underside of the record used to make a permanent circular line on the playing surface after several plays, just an observation really as it could only ever be classed as an executive toy. That being said, I loved it. Used to take it to school and play it in the playground at lunch time...

Wherever the speed potentiometer was the speed seemed stable. I know most of the time it was a little fast but totally adjustable. Very cool.

In my record player collection, I have a Motorola player from the mid 60's that plays 45's. The record slides into a slot on the front, just like CD's did decades later. It belonged to my wife. It uses 6 D cell batteries for power. After close to 60 years, it still works!

A cute little record player, for a child to use maybe, but it did seem to play rather fast. Sounds like the pitch is set wrong or the player has a speed fault. Not a bad little gadget though.

Well, obviously you don't have perfect pitch! Yes, it was very fast, turn it way down on the pitch. (I estimate 2 semitones on the fast side.)
