People who say they are only a dog or a cat don't have any idea the love we have for them. I prefer animals to people. They don't judge you, criticize you or leave you. I think it's wonderful how much you love Java.

I am watching your video and enjoying the quick glimpses of Java ears and nose as the smell of seafood tempts her into shot, and I got teary with you as you contemplated not having her. I am old enough to be lying here next to my fifth rescued or rehomed dog - a kelpie - and know that the wonderful gift of love and companionship and caring for another creature comes with the heartbreak of eventually losing them. Each has had a long and, I hope, happy life and when they go I cannot replace them but cannot bear to be without one ... thank you for taking the time in your busy life to film and edit these videos so that we can share a little of your life and the beauty of Norway without leaving our pets.
@MathildeHenriksen2 күн бұрын
Haha, I enjoyed her nose and ears aswell while editing! She is truly the best 💛 You are so kind, thank you. I get teary eyed just thinking about the fact that she will not be here forever with me. Will it be easier to grieve your first dog if you have another one? You write it very beautiful; the wonderful gift of love and comanionship and caring for another creature. Maybe loosing them and when they take a part of your heart with them is the price we have to pay for having such wonderful, honest and selfless creature in our life. Thankt you for your beautiful comment💛 I might have shed a little tear reading and responding to you, but it comes from love to our little fur-family members💛

Hello to my favorite Norwegian (to be fair you’re the only Norwegian I have any knowledge of 😂). I wanted to share my own dog story so you know that we understand your love for Java. 17 years ago I picked up a 10 week old skinny pitbull puppy. He became my best friend and went everywhere with me. He traveled the country, hiked, camped, visited the mountains and the oceans with me. He saw me through a lot of life’s ups and downs. About a month ago old age finally took him from me. It’s still weird sitting on a couch or lying in a bed without him pressed against me the way he always did. Even though it still hurts I’m really happy with the life that pup was able to live. All you can do is love them while they’re here and remember them when they’re gone. Ok, that’s enough of that. I enjoyed your video. It’s good to see you doing well.

Thank you for sharing your story💛. I have to admit that I got teary eyes reading about your little best friend. Java has been the same for me, and we have moved across the country, moved homes and met new people, -everything always together. I don't really know what to do when she is gone, and I am so sorry for your loss. Truly. Sitting on the couch, seing their beds and finding doghairs and toys... How do you get past it? Whenever I get emotional, I go and cuddle Java, haha!

Hi again 😊 Here is Aussie we have these birds called Magpies. Every Magpie breeding season they love nothing better than to bombard people. What we do on our bike helmets is put on slip-ties sticking up or attaching tiny umbrellas or putting mirrors in the top. It deters the magpies quite well. So I thought it might be an idea to try to keep your beautiful little dog safe. Nothing is funnier than watching people walking and bike-riding down the street and you see Magpies waiting and then dive-bombing them. 😂😊 Your environment is just so beautiful.❤ You are so funny you remind me of my girlfriends. Loved your Dad's big fish 🐟

I first thought you ment bomard people with poop, haha! Luckily we don't have any common birds that bombards or annoy either dogs or people here where I live. Hi 👋 I am really not sure when I first found you I just know it feels like from the beginning (it's not I don't think but I like to watch all back videos of a channel when I find one I love so much so that may be why I feel that way 😂). Totally understand your feelings on Java I have had and lost quite a few pets in my life and it is never easy 😢 I currently have a 9 year old Staffordshire Blue Terrier who we got at 2 and a 1/2 as a rescue and it is hard to see the grey appearing and the slowing down but we can only hope we have given them a good life for the sadly relatively short time they are with us (longest was 24 years with a cat I got as a kitten). The thing I love most is the joy you get from things in your life like a new lawnmower 😂 I know that no-one is like that 24/7 so if you are sad that's ok too. Your videos are wonderful and the love and care you put into them shows. Now we don't mind unedited or less than perfect videos but I understand you don't want to do that and that is ok. Anyway I have rambled on again as per usual (yes I am a motormouth in RL too 🤣🤣). Take care and sorry I wasn't jealous of the shrimp and nope I have no idea how to shell them just the smell of seafood of any kind knocks me sick I suspect my bodies way of warning me halt you are allergic to this don't go near 😂😂😂
