For me, I really need to less arcs. Fredrik Backman is an author I love. I hope you like his books. TW for Beartown. It is based around a grape. ☃️☃️

⛄️ Loved The Matchmakers Gift! Historical fiction with some magical elements and a touch of romance :) That’s the first one I thought of for the “happy” prompt

I actually have to agree about Rina Kent books. All the ones I've read just didn't do it for me. I think most were 3 stars. Anyways, try out Heaven Sent (Whispers of Vice and Virtue Book 1) by Paisley Jacobs. I believe it's her only/first book. But I really enjoyed it. Also, listen to brutes of bristlebroom. ⛄️

My most frustrating book: Metal Slinger! I loved that book until the twist ending- and it ruined it for me!!!

Hi Tory, quick question - how can you give the worst book of the year, the one you found so frustrating (The Boyfriend) 2 stars? Isn't that what the 1 star is for? I feel like people on reviews are being too nice with the star system. It's a crude system. 5 stars should be reserved for something really special, 4 for something very very good. 3 stars should still be a good read but with problems. 2 stars is mildly bad to mediocre and 1 is bad. Just bad. I feel like most reviewers give 3 stars to books that they didn't like and 2 is exceptionally bad. So literally it's changing the 5 star system into a 3 star system (5,4,3) where 2 is reserved for the really really really bad.

I know you and Jess probably get tired of me recommending this series. Read the Lost Boys series by Jessie Walker. Her books are just amazing. ☃🤞🏻

I’ve read probably 4 or 5 Freida McFadden books and I’ve hated all of them! I just don’t get the hype for her, and I’ll not be picking up anymore of her books. Also, not a Rina Kent fan 🫣☃️
