Answering Dance Moms Questions! 💜

The professional dancer one is quite interesting. Most competition rules say no professional dancers can compete. However it’s very common (especially in LA, and NY) for competitive dancers to have been paid for work in music videos, commercials, & tv series (occasionally even on Broadway). They can and do still compete. I’ve been unable to find official rules as to what they’re defining a professional dancer to be, but it seems kids booking occasional jobs is not what they’re getting at. As for the girls specifically, dance moms would not be considered a professional dance job, since they were actually being paid for their presence as a reality star. But the other things they did (like the music videos) did make them professionals by most definitions.

If the dances were filmed twice then why would forgetting or messing up in the non-judged dance be such a big deal? 2. Were the moms forced to be at the studio while filming? Hi Melissa I have a question during season 5/6 Maddie missed a lot of rehearsals and training because she was either working with Sia or doing interviews, did all of that professional work take a toll on her dancing, like her technique, flexibility and stamina. Since she was barely training at the studio anymore.

Hi Melissa. I really love watching your videos. I wished they were a tad bit longer though and a few more questions were answered. Most of us Dance Moms viewers/fans often remember every single little thing that happened in each episode of each season. It's interesting that most of the Dance Moms and girls don't remember a whole lot of what happened. To us, it's like it happened last week but, it has been more than 10 years since it very started. I don't remember everything from 10 or 12 years ago myself so, in all fairness, we can't expect the cast to remember but sure wished they could. Lol. It would definitely make the reminiscence so much more grand. 😂 But, then again, there are some things about what happened on that show that I'd much rather forget too! I'm not sure how to get a question answered from you and I don't do much social media. I'm in my mid 40's and not really so tech savvy either. But my questions are: Are Maddie and Kenzie going to address, publicly, or makeva statement on why they didn't do the Reunion show? Lord knows they don't have to address it but it has been a hot topic lately. My second question is: Has Abby Miller tried reaching out to you or any of the other moms or M& M in the last few years or at all? Wondering if she ever has any regrets on how she treated the girls. All the girls. Watching the show, the disrespect to the girls and moms was horrible. I hope you continue with your youtube videos.
