I loved Jeremy’s old content. He was great at providing recommendations for people. I did notice the change in him, but I felt like he was a victim of his own success. When he uploaded a video about his backstory, I started to understand things a little better. I do believe that he’s a good person. If anything, he needs to take a break and find himself, again. I love your level-headed approach and the compassion and respect you show to your brother.

The "old" Jeremy was the person who got me into fragrances, he's changed a lot, although still appreciate him for being that guy. I agree 1000% that the price could have been lower, the juice was fantastic but the price was as much as Parfums de Marly bottles. Thing about business is you have to understand your target audience.

I think a lot of Jeremy's former fans are liking you because you're down to earth and you're very respectful. You're giving some light on everything that is happening without taking advantage of the situation or trying to put your brother in a bad light.I feel like Jeremy lost contact with his comunity, quality of content and the message sent through the videos. I really hope you'll have success in what you want to do and also I hope Jeremy finds himself again and get back to "normal" I agree with you, high prices mean high expectations, the experience of buying an expensive perfume should be totally different of what it is now with Fragrance One. As I mentioned before the perfume itself is great but the experience for the price paid is bad in my opinion

I'm actually quite touched by the grace, the sense of protection you showed for your little bro and also the honesty. People with siblings understand even more the sentiment behind this video. How funny it is that Jeremy took on board the advice about the dancing but keeps ignoring the one about the prices and the presentation?

I like your laid-back and quiet style. I do realize that dealing with and repairing Jeremy's channel and reputation is not your first order of business and that sort of intervention would most likely meet with some serious resistance from your brother if someone were to attempt it. My concern for Jeremy is quite sincere and I genuinely hope and pray that he can bring some order to his affairs and salvage his reputation. In the meantime, I think it might be a good thing for you to explore and identify any potential business opportunities for yourself. Although the market may seem completely saturated from bottom to top shelf Jeremy's line appeared to have forward momentum and I believe if you were capable of producing a new line that had an accepted and strong foundation with a "fresh, new, & unique" scent to hook the noses you could enjoy some success of your own. I believe that I am older than most of the others who come to this channel and to Jeremy's channel, so that may be where this next question is coming from heh, heh. I wonder about getting products on the shelves of brick-and-mortar retailers, is it worth the effort now? Obviously, there was a time not so long ago when getting your products on the shelves of a couple of major retailers could, pretty much, make your life. Certainly, a highly visible online store will fly circles around the "old ways", but I do know several individuals who still want an in-person retail experience. (No, they are not an old 55-year-old like me hahaaa!) For people willing to roll up their sleeves and work plenty of opportunities still exist so I wish great success to those individuals.
@ScentsWithBenefits2 жыл бұрын
Thank you! Retail is very costly and risky. I’d rather have full control over my sales channels and send out fragrance samples for interested customers. Especially smaller brands can get killed if a big chain decides to turn them off after they had them in store.

I 100% agree with everything. I personally love Office for man. it beats for me sauvage, Bleu de Chanel and yes even aventus in terms of smell, longevity and projection. however the price was way to high for what it is and the cap was just awful. but.. have the same juice with slightly improved cap for around 80€-110€ and you got yourself a highly successful product
@thejuiceloosener1502 жыл бұрын
You have a solid business mind and recognize the issues with the brand (cost, quality of the bottle/packaging, front man/marketer no longer being tenable for the image, no samples). A new label without a Jeremy’s fan base might be tough but if you have the infrastructure and some investment available you could swing it.
@ScentsWithBenefits2 жыл бұрын
I don't have the investment available... I never took a bonus out of Fragrance One and then I got cut off. But if I create something worth showing, maybe enough people will believe in it and I can crowdfund it (even if it will be much smaller than Fragrance One)

I sincerely appreciate your willingness to come and shed some light. It's intuitively obvious to me that Jeremy is battling something 6 inches between his ears. Diet absolutely can play a significant role, especially if it's to one extreme or the other. I am in the medical field (for the record, psych is not my specialty) but I absolutely deal with it daily w/my patients. I am NOT going to give a diagnosis, but w/out asking the pertinent questions if I were in the exam room w/him, it would appear his mind is racing w/way too many thoughts that he can't seem to manage/control. Again, ONE would need to sit down w/him and ask the "right/pertinent" questions. I clearly understand that EVERYONE has a damn opinion just about everything now days; it's sad and social media can be so dark. He shared a video (for the record I am not following him anymore due to the significant change from early on--saw another fragrance guy doin a "tribute" on Jeremy and it peaked my interest) today of him going back to Miami, making children and obtaining a family. Went off about "if I had only 6 months to live" scenario. Bizarre video and made very little sense and was more concerning that anything, frankly. I just don't think he can control or manage things cognitively w/out a solid treatment plan moving forward. I am sure some who want to defend him will come at me; but the keyboard warriors don't phase me as it's the time we live in, unfortunately. They will have to look themselves in mirror one day and be held accountable for their actions. Anyway, I appreciate you being a great brother to him and I hope he can figure out things soon. .BTW, BBF, what type of watch are you wearing? I am a watch guy and noticed that NO one asked you? I am assuming a Rolex Submariner? Anyway, just curious as it was a great looking timepiece. Thanks again and continue to support and love the little bro.

We’ll said, I was very concerned with his development, however after the way he decided to cut me off I had to draw a line. I have a wife and two kids of my own now and his type of behavior have an indirect impact on them too. You can guide a horse to the water but you can’t force it to drink. I hope he gets well BEFORE he even thinks about children. Correct it’s a sub! Cheers

ADHD...another one of the endless "disorders" invented by modern psychiatry, in order to justify their field and along with the pharmaceutical companies....to keep their pockets lined. All of the personality traits you named are what makes a person unique and interesting. It's sad that people today are always looking take some kind of experimental medication in order to make people more robotic and lifeless. If you took any artistic genius from history to a modern day psychiatrist, they would diagnose them with a dozen "disorders", prescribe them a zombie pill to ensure that they would no longer contribute masterpiece art to the world but instead be an assimilated herd animal. Go read the biography of any great artist, musician, writer, inventor etc.. from history and you will find they were full of eccentricities, quirks, neurosis and sometimes borderling madness. Thank God pharmaceutical companies didn't rule the Western world back then.

I couldnt agree more packing could be better and the caps also could improve. However as you mentioned the juice is just as important.

You should make a affordable and an expensive line that would be great. And like you said a better presentation. Good luck

Kamil, side topic: your English beats Jeremy's, practically accent free. Wow. You also sound a very down to Earth, reasonable person to me.

Greetings. There is one aspect from the whole fragrance journey I wish fragrance houses would do (and forgive me if this is already a thing, but I'm new on the path, and limited to content), and that is to give a better explanation of how the various components of a fragrance work, smell and last, as an example. I'd love to be able to see, at a glance, what fragrance types go best with what skin types, if this is at all possible? As an example, if you're a mid 30s, African male would a scent perform the same as on an Asian male in his 40s, or European male in his 50s? From my own perspective, people gush about Oud? I have no clue what it smells like or if it would work on my skin or if I would like it? It's things like that which inhibit my journey.

I would be interested in videos about the dynamics of fragrance trends, the marketing side of it etc. I like your videos Kamil and you look really good in that shirt your wife chose for you 🙂 Edit: I have warm feelings for Jeremy, he's quite a personality, and I wish him well, but I wouldn't buy Fragrance One from him (and I haven't so far). You made me consider buying it for the first time, so I guess you have the potential of bringing a different client base to the business.

I remember Jeremy trying to justify the price by claiming it was a luxury good while also trying to defend the no cap and tester box saying he wanted to keep it basic because it was just about the “juice”. It’s like buying a pinto with a Ferrari emblem on it
