MBAs aren't worth it anymore. You don't need it if you're successful enough (like you are), and it doesn't generally help push you over the top as a young person. Financially it rarely pays off to lose all that time focusing on something that has marginal benefits that are often really hard to quantify. You're already doing fine. Just get with good financial professionals and learn core GAAP.

Frankly speaking... I'm also a doctor dear ... What I learned over a period of my difficult training in a hard way is .. 1) Not everyone will like u 2)and that's okay. 3) we should stop taking validation from other people for who we are... Especially those who don't actually matter , and may be after few days u will not remember that they even existed nor will they remember u. 4) it is your job to love yourself, and no one can do that for u( no matter how close they are) , people can never walk on your shoes. 5) you are your best judge and God... Sometimes it is better to leave things on God because there are different kinds of people everywhere , we have to protect ourselves from their negativity . 6) you are born different and everyone is born as different as u... We should stop judging people because it is not our job to judge them , it is our job to help people our spread a bit of love and kindness, and judge ourselves to be a better person always.

Love this video. You keep it real and speak truth about the health field about the employers being able to dispose of their employees easily. Along with the so called “taboo” talk on money. It’s definitely different when you work to support yourself and your family vs. working the same job when you are more financially free.

You don't have to stretch the payments out over 30 years. That's how you accrue interest rates on your mortgage even if it's fixed. Remember: The bank is out to make a profit. That's why they have a hand in the real estate business. The best time to buy a house is when you are making enough money to pay it off over a 15 year period on a low fixed rate, and enough spare money for maintenance and emergency expenses; including the time when you need to sell the house because of a new job assignment accross the State or the country.

You put down a 20% deposit which was a six figure amount. Assuming that you paid a $100,000 deposit the purchase price of the house is probably around $500,000 which does not come as a surprise as properties in Seattle and surrounding areas are quite expensive. Yes many people have become vloggers giving them a comfortable income. It beats being in the office glaring at the computer screen all day any time. You are a natural in front of the camera and have excellent communication skills so it's not surprising that you have become popular.

I felt that employer could dispose of employee ever since the 2008 market crash because I was working at Mcdonalds and saw my hours drop from 35 hrs to 10 hrs because the business dried up lol. So that made me a frugal person because I realized I could lose employment or lose my income at any time.
@MegaBenny212 жыл бұрын
@@samjon6403 She can if she has enough passive income to cover her expenses which is what she was saying in the video. My comment was just sharing that I had this mindset since 2008 when a lot of ppl lost their jobs due to the economy going through a really big recession and that employers can cut your hours or lay you off if they want to. so you have to create your own income.
@MegaBenny212 жыл бұрын
@@samjon6403 she doesn't have to leave her job if she wants to stay but she gets to choose for herself. Thats why she only works part time now because her social media/content creation nets her so much more money that she can ultimately volunteer when she wants. I know right now she probably is not financially independent but if she was she could ultimately leave. It's her choice.
@MegaBenny212 жыл бұрын
@@samjon6403 what are you talking about I am not telling her to do anything. she became part time because she wanted to .She wanted flexibility. Health care workers are getting treated like crap right now I have two cousins who used to love their doctor careers who told me the stress is too much now and they changed careers because they couldn't handle it. I work at a pharmacy where our work load has gone up but our pay hasn't. She is ultimately going to do what she wants I'm not advocating for her to leave.

If you go into nursing, do yourself a favor an get a Master's to become a nurse practitioner at least because nursing is a really hard job. My mom was a nurse for 45+ years. It's decent money but really difficult because there's never enough CNA's so you clean up shit, lift 200lb patients and get verbal abuse all the time.

I just turned 20 and I have no experience with it my mom doesnt know much about the stuff and I would love some advice on how to get started/what to avoid. I have a goal this year to get the basics done like opening a retirement account and getting my first credit card. I feel so behind, but I graduated highschool later in life at 19 and the education system doesnt teach us about investing or its just not covered in-depth. So I'm in my first year of college and feeling so stressed out on how to do all these important adult things.
