I think for starting videos yeah it’s good to be captivating at the start for sit down things but for vlogs a time laps or coffee at the start sets the mood/scene for the vlog which makes more sense when your sharing a day in your life.

I wish they’d had filmed the renovation of their house. KZbin is for creating whatever you want, if you enjoy what you’re making do it, people are going to have opinions either way. If they think it’s showing off, so what? They don’t have to watch it! But mostly if you’re enjoying what you’re making it shows and other people will enjoy it also...if they don’t at least you can look back at it!
