Yes LMU is extremely good for Physics and it has a lot of partnerships with TUM I believe Physics is future-proof because it teaches you skills that can be translated into any field

If you study in a German-taught program the lectures are going to be in German. In an English-taught degree, they're in English :)

if you want free education in Germany then you have to speak German. if you have the money then you can apply to universities that teach in English

If you wanna study in a German-taught program, yes you will need German.(B2 level required to apply) English-taught programs usually don't require German skills
