When I fly to cities east of Illinois, I'll bring an iPass if I'm going to be renting a vehicle to avoid the price gouging by the rental car companies. I've read these new iPass sticker tags can't be moved from one vehicle to another, so how will I be able to use these tags in a rental car out of state? Maybe I should just get an EZ Pass account instead of my iPass account.

Tollway reading license plates. Rental company will take it out from your credit card.

@@evaldasbus9174 With a "convenience fee" that results in you paying 3x the price of the regular toll amount. East of the Mississippi River, states have transponders that are billed first. If no transponder is detected, they revert to billing the license plate.

Go to Ipass website and register your license plate with bank account. Then no need transponders. My daughter driving like that more than two years
