I always adore your content. You are a gifted creator who truly speaks to those of us who have an adoration for God's beauty in gardening and nature. If you do another Q & A - - my question to add: ........ Would you please consider doing a full unedited tour of your entire landscape (front, side and back yard, etc.)? For those of us who enjoy gardening ..... we sometimes feel discouraged when we compare our personal garden outcomes with edited content. However, it lifts us up to see reality (weeds, out-of-season views of an entire landscape, etc.) as opposed to the polished look. Thanks so much for all you do! You are a blessing.

Thank you for the compliment. Not sure when I will do another q&a so I can answer your question now. I actually don't have a side yard garden. Maybe one day I will. I have filmed the front yard several times but for privacy reasons I don't like to create a lot of content that features the front yard so I stick to the backyard. Plus it allows me to dedicate the bulk of my plant budget to the area that will be on film. Hopefully that makes sense lol. I have shown how messy my garden gets during my garden clean-up videos though. My next several videos for November are actually all about me cleaning up the garden. It is a complete mess, weeds everywhere lol but filming them has been fun so far. Curious to see how those videos do since that is all I am doing in them. Seeing the garden in an un-perfect state can be more relatable though so i definitely understand. Thanks again for the question!!

And Heidi, yes, no matter which version you watch, my favorite are the original movies with Shirley Temple, when you start gardening or visit the mountains, you see what Heidi might have experienced and why her grandfather liked his seclusion. 😂😂 Pretty names for pretty babies. I love how they are just as excited about being in nature as much as you are.

I as well have yet to see my ranunculus sprout, gave up on them in Georgia as well. Heirloom roses have a sale on bulbs and roses going at the moment. Thank you for sharing and answering my questions. Beautiful family, garden and home. One more question, is green your favorite color? 😅 Me too! 😂

It isn't my favorite color but I have been loving lately lol. Purple is actually my favorite. Ranunculus seem to be finicky with the heat. And you are so welcome!! Thank you for leaving questions!!

@@humanbeing4368 I’m in zone 7a in Virginia and I planted my ranunculus in the spring after presprouting them. They bloomed and then the aggressive summer hit. They fizzled. I left them in the ground and now they are starting to grow again, just in time for the frost to zap them in a couple of weeks. 😂I’m tempted to see if they will just survive the winter. I think they will for you in Georgia. They will bloom in the early spring as a fall planted bulb.

@@dearestgarden You are welcome! You had all shades of green going on in this video thus my assumption. Purple is my current obsession this year. Seems like every year I switch favorites but Green has always been an old faithful. my second guess for a favorite color for you would have been black since I see it a lot in your videos.

@@humanbeing4368 Green is definitely lovely though and fits Dearest Garden well. I think the muted greens, sages, and olive greens are what I gravitate towards the most. I do love black and how plants pop more against the black raised beds/pots. Cool that you noticed! 😊

@ Good for you! They are beautiful flowers and I decided to give them another try. I’m in zone 8b. Just received a few bulbs in the mail and will be planting them today! Fingers and toes are crossed. 🤞
