29:00, that question is in multiple parts actually - 1, it is hard for some to understand why men are visually stimulated, it can even be unrealistically fictional like Hentai; while many women are visual too it is more associated with men. It's something the lady may not empathize with. 2, for those of us who grew up religious but no longer so, porn is also portrayed by my upbringing as visual fornication, she may feel like he's being visually-unfaithful even as she verbally intellectualized that he'll never actually do that. 3, it is also a confession of an irrational insecurity - it sounds like she conveyed "I don't look like that, is this what he wants? I can't be that." If one doesn't empathize with the male gaze, it is understandable that it is rationalized that way. Or they're both young or inexperience and have a lot to learn and communicate from one another... lol... simpler!

And even then sometimes I think people only want a version of their parents to a degree. The reason for the "escort" questions is because, for a long time, it was known by many people who lived long in the Middle East that the rich Arabs would pay models (some cases $1mil.) based in Los Angeles bars/clubs to fly to the middle east to do kinks/fetishes for them. It may be true that in this case, it was to just maybe impress the models (no idea of the ulterior motive). I lived in Abu Dhabi, UAE for 17 years and have spoken with many people who had local friends in the early 2000's that would say this and it is well known but it would always be hush-hush due to the strict law and the court system that can manipulate stories to get people imprisoned. For ex, the court system would say that you were spreading rumors about the ruler and you would be penalized for that. But yes, it is true that it does happen.

I think part of the insanity of people's reactions to their partner liking somebody's pics on Instagram is where you started off on the internet. If their early exposure to the internet was hook up apps, dating apps, then they might look at reaching out to someone with a like or a comment on Instagram as being like swiping right and selecting "I want to hook up with you" from a dating app. People who first got on the internet through Facebook are much the same way. They think everything is Facebook. And all sites have to work like Facebook. I grew up in a white neighborhood and that question always made me feel like a foreigner, tiff grew up in a Mexican neighborhood so it was way different for her. @@NikkiLimo When you mentioned that you've never been to the Philippines it finally made sense why you always talk up Bali without mentioning the Philippines at all because in my opinion the Philippines is just as good, if not better than Bali depending on how "Americanized or Westernized" you want the place to be so you don't have as much of a culture shock when you travel there. When you feel safe to travel again, I suggest visiting the Philippines and disregard what your grandparents have told you about the Philippines over the years because their experience is outdated (assuming they haven't been back either) or colored by how they grew up in a more impoverished time, not during the period where economists are projecting the Philippines to be a top 20 economy by 2050. Sure poverty still exists, but its gone down from over 20% to about 16% over the last decade, and it could be as low as 10% over the next decade as current infrastructure under construction that's designed to boost the economy finally gets finished. Of course if you do decide to visit, do some research on where you're staying etc because just as LA has skid row, so does the Philippines, so try booking at the newer areas/resorts that have been popping up all over the place.
