A couple weeks ago we asked y'all for questions to make a Q&A video on our drive up to the Texas Panhandle. Filming a Q&A while driving proved to be too hard, so we filmed it from our campsite and van at Caprock Canyons State Park instead! A HUGE thank you to everyone who sent us questions! We tried to answer as many as we could, but if we did not answer yours, please comment below, email us, or message us on Instagram and we will answer!

It’s okay to be unsure about kids. I’m 33 as well. My husband and I suffered infertility and ended up adopting three kids at once first, then did fertility treatments for our next, and had a surprise. They are now 2,4,8,9, and 10. Although, it can be challenging, I never regret having them. It’s not that we can’t do things at times, we just do them differently. I love to teach them and show them the world. Currently, we’re planning a month long tent camping road trip from the upper East Coast (Chicago) to Yellowstone and back through the lower states (St Louis). We enjoyed your South Dakota videos.

Although we will say, vlogging with kids sounds challenging lol (it's already hard enough with us two adults and a dog), so we aren't so sure about that 😅 But maybe y'all could share some tips on how you make it work! I really appreciate this Q&A video. I love that y'all spoke to the job situation. It's a lot of work to maintain a 40+ hour a week job and go travel, shoot video and then edit it and release the video. I keep going because I found that I absolutely love shooting video and editing it. And I love all aspects of camping. I'm hoping that over a 7 year span I can transition from my full time I.T. job into being a full time KZbinr/Video producer. It's tough because so many people in our personal lives don't understand all this work and effort, and they don't get the passion. So it's nice to hear from someone else that understands. ANd that salad, YUM. Sam's Club has a very similar salad that I love. When I'm in a crunch for time I like to get a can of cooked chicken breast and add to the southwest salad.

We’re super thankful our families support whatever we decide to do and we know that whatever we decide someday will be the right choice for us! You’re not alone and it can be hard when people try to convince you that you must have them. ❤️ Time zones can be tough! @@AdventuresofAplusK Wow! Thanks for the response. We live in the lower peninsula but have fallen in love with the UP (Upper Peninsula). For Uppers, that makes us Trolls. :) Anyways, if in the UP, you can check out the porcupine mountains, the Keweenaw peninsula, Black Rocks in Marquette, the Pictured Rocks lakeshore (a life-changing kayak trip), & Tahquamenon Falls to name a few. Mackinaw Island is another Michigander bucket list locatoin. It is a beautiful island with no cars, lots of natural beauty, and the historic Grand Hotel. As for the lower peninsula, I highly recommend the Traverse City area (wine/foodie country) and the Sleeping Bear Dunes. West Michigan is known for its incredible amount of breweries (Founders & Bells to name a few), and of course, Detroit, the Motor City has so much history (Motown Records, Auto Manufacturing, etc). We've traveled to all of these places and would be happy to provide additional details if that would be helpful. In addition, Michigan has a robust state tourism agency (www.puremichigan.com). There may be some sponsorship opportunities for you much like your videos made in conjunction with the SD tourism bureau.

I wondered too if you ever planned to have kids. If you do, you can still go on adventures. As a mom in her 40’s with two kids (1 in middle school, 1 in elementary) travel might slow a little and look different but it’s so fun to give these experiences to them and see it through their eyes. I think job commitments get in the way of travel more than kids do. So if you have the means to travel with your jobs, you have the hardest part figured out. My family never traveled when I was a kid. I am in love with traveling so I love that I can give my kids that experience. My lists of places I hope to go is long though, so I need to start stepping up the pace! Lol.

Oh my goodness, your 2021 plans sound amazing, I can not wait to see some of it. You know I love Utah. Love Colorado and Wyoming too so that will be a lot of fun to watch, and have wanted to visit New England in the autumn for so long 🍁🍂 Like you guys I've given up on hopes of international travel this year 😟 and am looking at Cornwall Devon for the summer instead! Lol at Adam's "Scotland for golf" answer. Kathryn, I'm with you on Patagonia though - been wanting to go there for too long. I did a non luxury safari in Kenya and Tanzania (overlanding truck) and it wasn't too bad. The worst part was the campsite in the Serengeti - no fence around it. I was scared I'd wake in the middle of the night needing the loo, but by the time I woke, the kitchen staff were making so much noise it would have scared off any animals.🦁 Bless you guys for what happened on your Mexico trip (belly rather than sunburn... it's almost a rite of passage for Brits to get burnt when they go on holiday, it's rather embarrassing!) . But the belly situation has happened to the best of us. Interestingly on some of my favourite trips: Morocco, Bosnia AND Turkey! Loved the lightning round at the end, so pleased some of the questions made it into the video (... and I got a shout out 🙌🙌) . Your logic behind the airline/accommodation cancelling was too funny, especially for a quick fire round. 2 very good arguments you've got there. 🙌🙌 Interesting to learn tacos over ice cream if you had to choose! Great video - well worth the wait!

And we are thankful that the Mexico incident didn't ruin the trip haha. I actually skimmed through the video from our last day there and was shocked I ate so much that day because I KNOW I felt horrible lol. I powered through it, I guess! You guys did well to eat properly in Mexico on the last day, it's strictly plain bread, rice or pasta for me for a few days after the event! It always throws restaurant staff though, they worry thinking it's something lost in translation! @@AdventuresofAplusK Huge shame about the Fiery Furnace. I loved the Devil's garden trail at the top of the park (hiked it in 2010 and again in 2019 it was that good). There are many attractions along it meaning you can easily shorten or lengthen it depending on how you're feeling. The double O arch at the top is beautiful if you have the energy. Both times we've hiked it first thing in the morning as the trail is mostly east of the arches so the morning sunlight shines onto them for pretty pictures rather than giving silhouette's. Never done the loop, always powered out as far as we wanted to go before the heat of the day set in, then slowly made our way back stopping at the different arches for a breather once the temperatures rose. IMO significantly better than the Delicate Arch hike - though you di get the big reward at the end of that one. Not a hike, but the Windows at sunset are gorgeous.

We like this one guy named Jeremy Scott's workouts for more of a HIIT workout and we have also gotten into running more since COVID started, as well as taking long walks as often as possible. And hiking too! As for work for the channel, Adam manages our website (he re-built it recently on a new builder), works on Pinterest (a big driver to our site), outlines all blogs and rough drafts them, uploads the blogs once finalized, manages our relationship with our bookkeeper and CPA, does the music for our vlogs, and keeps track of analytics. I focus on planning out content ideas (both blogs and vlogs), outlining vlogs (the flow of them, facts to say, etc), taking the blog outlines/drafts and editing, expanding on them, and finalizing them, editing all of our photos, editing the vlogs, uploading the vlogs and doing all of the description writing + tagging, and manage our Instagram + KZbin comments, work with partners, and respond to emails. We cannot wait to make it there! Thanks for the tip on when to visit, we have been hoping to make it a winter trip eventually, so we are glad our planned timing is good! We hope you enjoy your Montana, Wyoming, SD trip...they are some of the most gorgeous states!

Hi Kevin! We actually don’t drink, so no breweries for us. We’re sorry we can’t help with that one! 😫 But we have some friends that really love Lazarus and Jester King!

I know you said you’re planning on visiting the Great Lake states. If you come to Wisconsin, consider door county. It’s so beautiful on Lake Michigan with tons of coast line and lighthouses. Beautiful lavender fields in early august on the island off the coast of door county as well.

Door county is super high on the list for our time there! We may not make it in time for lavender fields, but I’m going to write that down in case there are still there!

Thank you so much for watching! If you have any other Great Lake state tips, let us know! We will likely be sticking to closer to the lakes vs. more inland just due to time constraints, but VERY excited to go!

Re kids, you do you. It is not anybody's decision but yours. Not gonna lie, it does change your life. But if you love to travel, having kids will not stop you. You can still travel as a family and maybe start writing family friendly trip itineraries. There is a market for that (errr me, as I have a 5yr old). ;)

I'm a newer viewer, found y'alls videos doing research for Seattle. (My partner and I are going for the first time in two weeks) And I have to say, this is one of the best Q&As I have ever watched. It was so incredibly well organized, so well-researched, and I absolutely loved that you put in a table of contents and showed each question on the screen. I know how much work must've gone into making this video and I wanted to let you know that it didn't go unnoticed! Definitely looking forward to traveling and exploring more once COVID slows down. Just wanted to say you've got a new subscriber in me!

Great Q & A. Love the content you create. Just started RVing in the fall. I work part time and travel other times. Interested in remote work to subsidize my travel. Just found out about VIPKid yesterday. Would love to hear about you experience with them. We're you a teacher already? I was intimidated by the extremely long legal mumbo-jumbo of the terms of agreement. Thanks for any advise.

Hi Darlene! I was a teacher for about 6 years before doing VIPKid, but anyone can teach with VIPKid as long as you have a Bachelors, have experience working with kids in some capacity before, and an American accent (vs. British or Australian). You have to do a few rounds of interviews/class demos, which were intimidating at first. It took a while to get fully hired, likely due to the time I applied (when COVID was kicking off and more people were applying), but the experience has been pretty positive! The pay isn't super great, but the hours are really flexible (you make your own schedule) and the lessons are planned for you, so there is really no prep work. Some teachers are very enthusiastic, which always made me hesitant to apply since I am more reserved, but I have still been able to book up most of my schedule openings. I hope that helps some!

@@AdventuresofAplusK Great information. I have worked with children in one capacity or another for 40 years , both volunteering and paid. Children are my passion. Thank you for you response.

You would enjoy it then for sure! Oh and as for being in a RV/van while teaching, we haven't had issues using our hotspots for internet with VIPKid. We just make sure we have good service wherever we sleep so we can wake up early the next morning and teach from that spot (vs. having to drive around to find service).
