I’m going to guess from you’re comment that you are either not old enough or don’t have the proper cognitive functioning to be allowed to operate a phone. So no one is offended by your ignorant comment. However; if you’re so worried about online safety, maybe don’t comment dumb stuff under a first and last name. Hopefully you’re not the real Ella Larder. You have no idea what you’re talking about and are jumping to conclusions about a family based on windows of their life online. Get a life. Grow a brain.

My mom worked in a police department in the 90s and she said she saw cases that she couldn’t believe and because of it we were a no sleep over home, I hated the rule and fought about with regularly with my parents. We were the only family with that rule and other parents even disparity my Parents. I was raised in a Christian home and our friends were totally trustworthy and gave my parents no reason not to be trusted. I’m a grown women now and seeing the unfortunate and dark truths of *SOME* of those families and the things I was protected from, I can’t thank my parents enough. I’ll be continuing the rule in my home!

Your Mum is and I turn you are incredibly smart. As a teacher but especially as a foster Mum I actually have the same rule because some of the case files I had to read were horrific. I wouldn't risk anything more happening to them. I heard on the news today that the police have just arrested a gymnastics teacher for 26 counts of child r*** and having child pictures on his computer. There are now others coming forward and it started in 2014 until the present. It's a reminder of how a dodgy person can look like a friendly neighbour or local coach.

I did that with my kids. Heck there's no way a kid can keep all gifts forever. Or we'd pack away the toys they didn't really play with and we'd have a big yard sale in spring and the kids got to keep the money. But we did donate toys that were gently used. 😉

Definitely agree with Sav. What's the point of giving your kids something for Christmas just to disappoint them and make them give half of them away? I mean I get teaching them to give back, donate, or whatever but make them go through their old stuff to get rid of right before Christmas. If they're anything like my daughter has always been they probably have brand new toys in their room anyway that hasn't been touched. Just my opinion though. If you want to give away gifts to other people or children involve your kids in the angel tree. Have them go through there old toys and clothes and donate those. I wouldn’t give them new gifts to give away. That seems harsh to me. As someone who helps out with middle school girls. PLEASE do not give your children a phone until it’s NEEDED. There is no reason for kids to have tiny computers in their pockets all the time. Especially when they are a child of an influencer and of a family that receives so much undeserved hate. It seems like you are doing this already. And to this I say, thank you! And encourage other parents to do the same. I love the idea of the smart watch with limited contacts, but there is no reason for them to have a cell phone until they start driving.

Biggest regret I have as a parent! I was honestly thinking safety so I could know where they were at all times (while playing with friends) and if they ever needed me. Or instead of giving a gift away after you get it or see it, each year your child could go pick out 1 gift to that can be for a child that is in need or whose situation wouldn't allow them to have any otherwise and they can know each year that they will receive 1 less gift than they otherwise would because donating a gift takes the place of that gift but your kid can pick it so they usually are excited and want to be able to go and be the one to pick

If you haven't figured it out yet, an idea on the x-mas gifts! I had a friend's mom who growing up, she did "Helper elves". The story was: Santa found kids along his journey who didn't make the list because they didn't have an address. Mom and dad got an email/text calling for help on Christmas Eve. Santa's elves don't have time to build new presents so he asks kids on the nice list to be helper elves. They go through and put a number of their older toys that don't get played with as much in a red sack like Santa's and that gets left out with the cookies before bed. Santa takes them and leaves a thank you for helping the other kids. Then my friend's mom would take the sack and donate the toys to our local women's shelter the day after Christmas. You could always change it up though if there are local toy drives near you that happen right before Christmas.

We went around and around, I kept saying please not Fred take anything but Fred... PLEASE!!! crying I ran away grabbing Fred. Things calmd down and I hid Fred under my bed. When I got home from school Fred was gone, she just took him without a thought. So becareful and take your children seriously. Don't take something that's important to them. I’m so sorry to hear. My Mishutka (inspired my Mishka, which means baby cub in russian) was a bear I had when I turned 2 and I slept with every night. When I took her to show and tell day for school, a girl grabbed him out my backpack and took him away from me without me knowing! I sobbed for days, I couldn’t sleep and all I wanted was Mishutka. I had nightmares without cuddling her to sleep every night. One day, the school’s office called me in and I was able to get her back, by the grace of god.

I feel that ev won’t go through with the adoption because that’s the one thing that her dad gave her that her mom and Cole can’t sell, ruin, or get rid of. what’s funny to me is that, despite how sad and depressed i get, i’ve never been hateful to anyone online besides myself. if i don’t like someone, i just ignore them/block them/mute their posts. unless someone is a blatantly horrible person who says horrible things and promotes hate, i’ve NEVER been mean to someone online or posted a mean/backhanded comment. i truly never understood people who do that. i’ve suffered from pretty severe depression for 10+ years and i’ve never once wanted someone else to feel that way just because ~i don’t like them~ or ~don’t agree with them~ like ??? people on social media are STILL PEOPLE! real human beings with real feelings! honestly grow up

I am the oldest of four and they are my half siblings. My father passed when I was only 4 months old and my step dad was in my life at a very young age. It never affected my relationships with my siblings or my dad. I chose to not get adopted for a few reasons and it did not change how I viewed or felt about my dad. I did think about it as I got older, so I’m sure she will too!

I don't think you answered the 'do I regret putting my children on the internet?' very well. The main thing you worried about was 'hate comments', which I get is horrible. However, surely the biggest regret would be exposing your children to potentially wrongful eyes who are watching them for sinful reasons?

I love your videos and definitely agree with most of what you say. I honestly don’t think just because some people leave negative comments they are sad or have a sad life. I think some people are just stuck in their ways and beliefs and do things differently sometimes. (I mean don’t get me wrong, comments about appearance or comments that are crossing boundaries, definitely sad individuals), I’m just saying as far as people leaving negative comments like maybe not agreeing with something you do or say, doesn’t make them as individuals, maybe opinionated or something triggers them. I guess what I’m trying to say is, Some negative comments or what you may think are negative comments are definitely valid in some people’s minds. Doesn’t automatically make them sad or lifeless! I think when you have as many followers as you do, you really need to understand everyone lives and does things differently. Just wanted to put that out there because recently I got some backlash for disagreeing with a content creators thoughts on something that truly meant a lot to me. They basically told me to get a life and stop watching their videos. Just because I put it out there and didn’t agree with what they were saying. I was very hurt by that. I rarely comment but when I do, It’s always giving support. The very few times I disagree, it puts us subscribers in a place where people come at us. It’s definitely a two way street. I love your videos, you guys are definitely very inspiring.. keep up the great hard work, you guys are amazing❤

Idk about giving away the new gifts. Personally, I think it’s better to give away the old stuff that haven’t been touched in a while OR if you really want to give away something that’s new maybe just take take the kids shopping for stuff to give away for other kids. I think it’s so much better because then it’s the kids that get to pick something they really want another kid to have and I think the experience of going out picking gifts for others is a great experience that would leave a great feeling!

Great parenting advice and marital advice!! I agree with the no sleep overs, when my boys were young I allowed them to sleep over a few times and I would just be so nervous, I didn’t want to be a Hoover mom but I didn’t want anything bad to happen to them… but the bad can happen in the closeness of a family, sadly it did to me by a close family member, you are wise to keep your kids close and not allow sleep overs.
