Wonderful put God first I believe my prayer saved my brother when I was just a child. My brother had a serious asthma attack and while everyone in the house panicked I went into the room and got on my knees and prayed the doctors said he wouldn’t make it at first then they said if he did he would be mentally challenged but God healed him completely put God first people if you stray away come back Jesus will accept you with open arms 🙏

Thank You Pastor Bayless For This Awesome Message About Putting ' GOD FIRST! ' I had an issue with the principal of, " PUTTING GOD FIRST, " I would wake up every morning at 4am and spend up to two hours in the presence of God, just Him, and myself. It was Awesome, it was Fruitful, It Was, what I call 'PRESCIOUS TIME.' I would tell God about my financial situation, how I needed money, lot's of money 💰💰💰💰💰💰, I am on a pension, BUT I had to keep working to make enough money's to pay my bills, and to live on. This putting 'God First,' started to annoy me pretty badly, so I began to have doubts about this ' PUTTING GOD FIRST THING. ' I wasn't making any progress, my financial situation was getting worse, so I started going to TAB which is a place where you can gamble on horse racing, dog racing, football, rugby and whatever. I didn't do any good so I started blaming God for everything thing bad that was happening to me. Then I realised that I was at fault not God. Yes I was, 'PUTTING GOD FIRST,' at 4am every morning, but that was it, I wasn't following that through during the day, except on a few occasions where I would acknowledge God, but that would be it until the morning. God has nothing against physicians. Thank God for medical science, doctors, nurses, and all those involved in natural medicine. But there is a danger when we shift our trust from God to those other things. Put prayer and the promises in God’s Word before human wisdom (even though God will often use human vessels to bring His answers). Go to God first and He can intervene in ways you never imagined possible.

Pastor Bayless, I truly love Cottowood Church. It felt like my home for years, but have not attended for a few months. One of the reasons why I have stayed away is because I have struggled with the conventional teaching of tithing. I have been studying the subject on my own and have finally come to peace in understanding and accepting that a % is not requested from us, the New Covenant Church. I just came across this massage on giving God your best. So, what does it mean to give God your best? & to whom?

I'm writing a book about an 88 year old cowboy. He had paid his tithes and attributes his success to that fact. It's a sign of giving back what was given to us. Not ruled by the all mighty dollar some of his ways of tithing is giving to orphanage homes. Feeding someone he sees is hungry on the street. He says another part of tithes is being a part of a family giving of our time with like minded people. Causing a joy and peace to help fulfill our growth as his dear children. We are here to serve others and help those in need. I got caught up in pulling myself from a body/family. Now that I'm back I'm growing and being direction of my gifting. To manifest giving the world a gift given from God. I'm a writer and inventor. Just starting, however I found it. By keeping his living word washing my soul, in relationship. You're blessed and a great blessing to those around you. Share your light people miss you when you're gone, IN CHRIST SISTER. 1 peter 1:2

We are going to be looking at God's Church, God's people even, the irregular people as a great opportunity and not as an inconvenience. We are going to start seeing God's Church as Jesus friends' too. They are His friends too. In fact, look at down at verse 12 in John 15. It's all part of it. ''This is My commandment that you love one another as I have love you''. And in verse 17 '' These things I command you, that you love one another. The scottish pastor, Andrew Bonner, was listening to a famous preacher give a message. The guy was quite good. Afterwards Dr. Bonar said to him. ''You love to preach, don't you?'' The preacher said. ''I sure do'' Then Andrew Bonar said, ''Let me ask you this. Do you love the men to whom you preach?'' You love to preach. But do you love the people to whom you preach? I am confused by what we are supposed to give the first of? Does that mean in the offering plate of a church? And how much is worthy of being the best you got? All of ur paycheck before paying bills or after. I've heard of a % of your income should be given but not sure how accurate that is. We are poor and live paycheck to pay check and try to save what we can but definitely don't want to not give what is best to our Lord. Please help me to understand. Thanks and God Bless :)

Melody Faith first fruit just give what you can! He doesn’t like when you grieve while giving so if you don’t have fine if you do give what you can it’s not by force God is not forcing you to give but make sure when you give you give accordingly to what your heart feels you have and do it by faith!
