This video discusses two ways to represent bolts: solid and line bodies. The solid body model contains the bolt head and all threads and includes nonlinear contact behavior; as a result, it has a large number of nodes and is computationally expensive. In many cases, such details won't be important, and the bolt can be modelled as a line body. A line body ignores the threads and friction effects; hence it can be represented with fewer nodes for computational efficiency.
