You can get light red test tubes to still be able to see what the ants are up to, as well as giving them a way to avoid the light

The price comparison is apples and oranges... the Mercury is one tube, Saturn (med) is five. Which means the Saturn is a MUCH more economical long term as the colony grows. The point should definitely be to the Saturn.

That category is about price. If you remove the price from the equation, and instead consider the number of test tubes, why even add that category?

I’m a beginner and recently bought a Mercury. By comparing with Saturn, does the absence of red covers in the latter mean that they are not necessary? Bit puzzled here 😬Greetings from Belgium.
