Magnificent! Pletnev has a range of colours only comparable to Horowitz - even in his early years.

I agree Pletnev is magnificent with Tchaikovsky ! I never heard something this close but I think Horowitz still was better in everything... his range of colours and dynamics was even more subtle and he had a unique musical conception. The difference between a glistening stone and a shining star..
