নতুন চার উপদেষ্টার শপথ নেয়ার পর বৈঠকে বসেছিলেন অন্তর্বর্তী সরকারের উপদেষ্টা পরিষদ। ১৬ আগস্ট বিকেলে বঙ্গভবনে প্রধান উপদেষ্টা অধ্যাপক ড. মুহাম্মদ ইউনূসের সভাপতিত্বে এই বৈঠক শুরু হয়। এসময়য় কয়েকজন উপদেষ্টা, প্রধান উপদেষ্টার বিশেষ সহকারী, তিন বাহিনীর প্রধান এবং সামরিক ও বেসামরিক ঊর্ধ্বতন কর্মকর্তারা উপস্থিত ছিলেন।
