Honestly, I feel you could make an entire, high budget tv series around just about everything with Antares Confederacy. The “arrival era” the “hardship/dark era”the “reunification period” the establishment of the Confederacy, the Pioneer Corps. Pick a timeframe, pick an organisation, pick a planet, and every single bit of the Antares Confederacy could be the next “The Expanse” or “BattleStar Galactica” style hit. The Templin Institute’s world-building and narrative storytelling in Antares Confederacy is phenomenal.

I can imagine a Mass Effect style game centered around it. A 3 game series with the first being the exploration of the Antares system with the climactic ending of meeting the Vrul. The second with the player running around further exploring the home system and assisting the intelligence service culminating in the Liberation of Torix and the third continuing exploration and humanitarian support in the new borders with the final scene being the reveal of the United Terran Protectorate in the Galactic Community. At least that is what I imagine.

The amount of similarities to the history of the US Coast Guard in this is insane and I love that we're getting some fictional representation Similarities: - Search and rescue / law enforcement - Can be brought under the Department of the Navy in wartime - ships are called cutters - one of the things that became the modern Coast Guard was the Lighthouse Service - technically an older service than the Navy (as the Revenue Cutter Service) - the idea that "you have to go out but you don't have to come back" or "so others may live" probably a loose comparison but whatever - aid to navigation (ATON) and environmental stewardship - fast response to a wide range of emergencies (oil spills, hurricanes, search and rescue, law enforcement) - part of the military and involved in every war in US history There's probably other similarities that I've missed, but yeah, very nice work! Semper paratus!

Clone Wars were basically hundreds of civil wars which usually had the Republic and Separatists intervening on worlds critical to hyper space travel/ trade. Even if the Republic had Unified standing army it would still be caught in a stalemate with each worlds individual conflicts splitting the local PDF.

A few idea for the about Stellaris Invicta Season 2 Templin Institute because i don't know how to classified this (sorry for the bad english): 1. an overview of all empire or important empire in the series, maybe even some of their cities, systems, fleets, person of interest,... 2. an honorable mention of all empire that were good but didn't make the cut or some of the team personal favourite ( not necessarly have to be in the actual series ) 3. an extra round of writing submission to the people whose empire were picked (either in the actual series or the picked 100), they can write idea about their empire cities, systems, fleets, person of interest,... or even add additional lore to the Antares confederacy or the chosen empire in general though i don't know how to exactly organize that Of course, the team have all right to chose which on to make a video about, but i think this will even increase viewer participation even more, I just hope that you don't make this patreon exclusive because that just bad, and at best their will be only 100 submission at best ( though probally not all will join) so it not that bad.

Out of curiosity, where is the Red Cross and National Guard part? US Coast Guard does everything mentioned in this-aids to navigation, traffic management, maritime law enforcement / security, search and rescue. Even environmental stewardship. In a time of war they are transferred from the Dept of Homeland Security to the Dept of the Navy / DoD. Red Cross part comes in when they are neutral to all republics maybe?
