I would like to add some corrections: 1) So basically as you said, Mangas of Dragon ball and Dragon Ball Z both were initially released under the name of Dragon ball by Akira Toriyama, but the Super manga is a completely different one and was released about 20 yrs after the Z manga ended, purely for marketing purposes, and it was written basically by Toyotarou, and Akira Toriyama just provided some rough structure of the plot 2) Dragon Ball Z Kai didn't have any better animation, it basically had the same animation with clearer picture quality and removed any filler plus it was rescored (Music was changed in some scenes)

Bhai mere DBZ actually stopped airing on Cartoon Network in year 2010 as it was sensored by the Indian sensory boards because it showed blood shed in a kids channel. Super Boo Saga was the last saga aired by Cartoon Network India back then and then they stopped airing it.
