Does anyone want to complain, I’m ok with bad games (mainly for the memes) but I hate seeing a lot of them. The people at SEGA are still learning what’s good and what’s bad and I respect that. Besides, maybe the next game will work out for the better ... starting with the end of the boost formula. I like it, but it will get old soon if it hasn’t.

I just want to say that the level design in this game is flawless. Remember that just because he didn't address any issues with the level design doesn't mean he's blinded. The level design in Sonic Mania is hard and is supposed to be unique. This game isn't an easy modern game. This is a game with legitimate difficulty

Some require a bit of thought before being able to damage them, I loved the spider boss and Metal Sonic fights (specifically the part involving the Silver Sonics), the Mean Bean Machine was piss easy if you can understand the whole "match 4 of the same color" deal, Robotnik isn't even trying in that one. I have no clue how to avoid the weather machine's wind attack, though...

Even the good ending is disappointing? Well that's gonna discourage me from ever getting all of the Chaos Emeralds on a different run. I know that most longtime Sonic fans will view it as heresy to finish the game with only a few emeralds, but the special stages were simply too difficult for me. And the ending you get for not having the emeralds is incredibly infuriating ...
