Antelope Canyon, Horseshoe Bend & Dinosaur Tracks: 2 Day Road Trip, Arizona, USA | 4K UHD

This video is based on our road trip from Las Vegas, NV to Page, Arizona.
First day is mostly driving to reach Lake Powell to catch the sunset.
Next day is spent visiting attractions at Page: Antelope Canyon, Horseshoe Bend and Glen Canyon National Recreation Area. We drove further south on 2nd day to see Moenave Dinosaur Tracks.
Below are attractions covered in order of timeline.
1. Wahweap Overlook: Great for Sunset
You can see Wahweap Marina, Glen Canyon Dam, Navajo Generating Station, and miles of dramatic shoreline of Lake Powell
2. Horseshoe Bend: 8am
Horseshoe Bend is a horseshoe-shaped incised meander of the Colorado River located near the town of Page, Arizona, United States. It is also referred to as the "east rim of the Grand Canyon
3. Upper antelope canyon: 10am
Navajo name : "The place where water runs through rocks"
Formed by the erosion of Navajo Sandstone from flash floods
Flash Floods carved sandstone into spectacular shapes like Wolf's head
The Standing Bear and The Eagle
4. Glen Canyon Dam Overlook
Grand vistas of the Colorado River as it flows through Glen Canyon and the Glen Canyon Dam
5. 2nd day afternoon: We drive south to Grand Canyon East Rim Entrance
But first we took a detour at Moenave Dinosaur Tracks. These are the most extensive and well-preserved collections of dinosaur footprints in North America.
About 200 million years ago, this area was a marshy riverbed. It preserved hundreds of footprints from the dinos that trod across it. The preserved tracks are from the early Jurassic period. Out of remains we saw here following are key highlights : Dilophosaurus (This dino ate "Newman" in Jurassic Park movie). Tyrannosaurus rex footprints. Dino Claws and fossilized eggs, and lastly Pterodactyl fossil skeleton.
