When you first hear that theme, it is quite humorous, as it showcases how out-of-place Godot's suave antics feel in a courtroom. Then, when it starts playing at the end of the flashback that is Case 4, it is genuinely romantic, and you can feel the budding love between him and Mia. Later still, when you finally learn everything about his past, it suddenly becomes tragic to a tear-inducing degree. The exact same song, the exact same arrangement manages to evoke three completely different feelings in the very same story. That is the sign of genius compositional skill.

I just now realize that Godot's story is probably one of the most sad stories in video games, ever. He lead a happy life as Diego Armando, he probably made a good amount of money and he was happy with Mia with him. Then, all at once, his sight and lover were ripped from him all at once. Coming back to the world to get revenge on Phoenix, he failed that too. Not mentioning that he killed to save a girl, and now has to live out his days in prison.

His world changed. *Second Coffee added to the Court Record* Mia Fey was dead, struck with a blunt object by the blackmailer, Redd White. Grossberg wasnt doing much and Dahila was finally put to justice. Eventually, he discovered three names. Phoenix Wright, Maya Fey and Pearl Fey. *Phoenix Wright, Marvin Grossberg, Redd White, Maya and Pearl Fey added to the court record* Phoenix Wright was the apprentice of Mia Fey. He would put Mr White to justice. However he failed to save Mia which angered Godot. Maya and Pearl were sister and cousin to Mia. The only living source of Mia, Armando swore to protect the two and get revenge on *her* However, he was broken. Severe eye damage, bad nervous system, and a taste for coffee kept him alive and awake. You are playing as MIA, Her very first case in her career defending Terry White accused of murder... and as your mentor... you have no other then Diego Godot... Who was a defense attorney working under Gross berg's Offices. This statement tells a lot as it is possible to make a game based of Godot, as the story can be told of how he became a defense attorney or simply the story shifting off in his defense attorney career before he switched to prosecutor for a purpose of revenge against Phoenix Wright.

Godot might’ve been arrogant and had it out for Phoenix for no reason, but he was still by far my favorite prosecutor in the original trilogy. Payne is an obvious punchline, Manfred von Karma gets downed for one case. While I like Franziska outside of court, she is too much an asshole inside of court and just whips people. I like Edgeworth, but sometimes he can be rude. But both of them fabricated evidence and falsified testimonies. Godot never did any of that. And yet, he was a much more formidable opponent because he used his wit, just like Mia, to fight against a defendant he believed was guilty. He knows when he loses but still fights to the bitter end, just like his coffee. And he even admits to killing Misty Fey. That’s why I think he is the best prosecutor.

Miles and Franziska didn't fabricate evidence, at least not in purpose, only Kristoph and Manfred have done so deliberately. What does help is that Godot used to work as as defense and was used to having the odds stacked against him, which is probably why he's so much more formidable the other prosecutors

I don't think words can express how much I love his story, theme, character and everything in general. God, he feels so genuine as a character, he feels so human that it hurts. This song evokes so many memories. Back in school my friends and I used to play UNO(actually a UNO knock-off) a lot during lunch breaks, we would play it while listening to a playlist with songs like Star Wars cantina and this one, but this song in particular hits really hard, I really miss those carefree days. There are people from that time with whom I haven't spoken for so many years, but whom I remember so well and have so many good memories. For me the pain is still too raw AA is a fun game but when you peel back the layers there's a lot of trauma to unpack. I wish Maya could catch a break. She lost her sister, her mother, she was kidnapped, accused of murder twice, and she was possessed by the soul of the person trying to kill her. It's ridiculous the amount she has to suffer. Poor Edgeworth grew up believing that he killed his own father, and, because that's not bad enough, he was raised by his father's killer. Poor Godot could have prevented Bridge but he was so badly damaged by that unspeakable person. She set the train in motion and all I could do was clean up the mess I bought Ace Attorney thinking it would be a fun game to try out some deductive reasoning. It's left me questioning life, love, revenge, the human condition and my own place in the world. So yeah, Bridge, 10/10
