@@dilaawaiz but if we have used lossy substrate and lossy copper in antenna then how will we simulate such structure. In practical we don’t ha perfect conductor or substrates.

Sir, I have designed patch antenna in HFSS. Is it possible to do the CMA in it?

HFSS can do that, but it is not recommended. I usually use CST, and the FEKO can do that also.

The solver for the characteristic modes are they in CST or it is a different software?
