Anthem of Imperial Iran (Pahlavi dynasty) - سرود شاهنشاهی ایران‎‎

Sorry for not uploading in a while. I have found myself very busy lately.
Here is some info on the Pahlavi dynasty:
The Pahlavi dynasty (Persian: دودمان پهلوی‎) was the ruling house of the Imperial State of Iran from 1925 until 1979, when the 2,500 years of continuous Persian monarchy was overthrown and abolished as a result of the Iranian Revolution. The dynasty was founded by Reza Shah Pahlavi in 1925, a former Brigadier-General of the Persian Cossack Brigade, whose reign lasted until 1941 when he was forced to abdicate by the Allies after the Anglo-Soviet invasion of Iran. He was succeeded by his son, Mohammad Reza Shah Pahlavi, the last Shah of Iran.
The Pahlavis came to power after Ahmad Shah Qajar, the last ruler of the Qajar dynasty, proved unable to stop British and Soviet encroachment on Iranian sovereignty, had his position extremely weakened by a military coup, and was removed from power by the parliament while in France. The National Senate, known as the Majlis, convening as a Constituent Assembly on 12 December 1925, deposed the young Ahmad Shah Qajar, and declared Reza Khan the new King (Shah) of the Imperial State of Persia. In 1935, Reza Shah asked foreign delegates to use the endonym Iran in formal correspondence and the official name Imperial State of Iran (Persian: کشور شاهنشاهی ایران‎ Keshvar-e Shāhanshāhi-ye Irān) was adopted.
Following the coup d'état in 1953 supported by United Kingdom and the United States, Mohammad Reza Shah Pahlavi's rule became more autocratic and was aligned with the Western Bloc during the Cold War. Faced with growing public discontent and popular rebellion throughout 1978 and after declaring surrender and officially resigning himself, The second Pahlavi went into exile with his family in January 1979, sparking a series of events that quickly led to the end of the state and the beginning of the Islamic Republic of Iran on 11 February 1979, officially ending the 2,500-year-old Persian monarchy.

He wasn't even a real monarch, his father was a Prime Minister who took power from the final Qajar Shah. The Pahlavi dynasty were as much 'Shahs' as Nader Khan was - that is to say, not at all. Their right to the Sun Throne was laughably false.

Jonathan Williams No, I disagree. As bad as the current government is, it's a lot better than the Shah's government. All the 'good' things you see about his government are rose tinted and romanticised ways of looking at the country that focus almost exclusively on the upper middle class. The majority of people suffered quite badly under him. As bad as things are now, the government has been able to make the country more economically self sufficient, which has provided more (albeit not enough) working class labour as well as advanced basic level education and so on far more than the Shah's government was able to with its economic plans. Both have made similar mistakes by having the government own and control too much of the oil industry instead of just protecting native companies, which has resulted in a lot of corruption in the state oil company.

Jonathan Williams The average iranian isn't interested in conversions though i agree it's a problem that conversion is technically illegal. The law is pretty much never applied though, there's church congregations almost entirely composed of converts in Iran that get pretty much no problems from the state, though there are hardline politicians who want to execute them all. Iran is a fanatical theocratic state and their religious 'supreme leader' has written fataawa/religious edicts that state the production and use of nuclear armaments as religiously forbidden. There would be a clerical rebellion if khamanaei permitted the use of nuclear warheads. Rape victims aren't hanged under iranian law, the last girl who was hanged after she was raped was hanged because she pursued and stabbed the man that raped her to death long after she'd escaped him and was safe. She was tried and sentenced for murder, not being a rape victim. Do you even nuance bro? I don't like the iranian regime either, that doesn't mean it's okay to look at it without doing extra research and making biased conclusions.

Jonathan Williams That's just untrue, there's literally no clause in the iranian penal code or in any act of the Majles that says this. The four witness stipulation is for adultery and fornication, not rape. Rape doesn't require four witnesses under Iranian law.

There's been literally no evidence so far to suggest that they're trying to produce nuclear armaments. Instead of wondering whether what I'm saying is true, go read the fatwa for yourself. I never said it was about people not getting caught. I'm saying that there are official, government-recognised churches with congregations made almost entirely of converts and nothing happens to them. Not because they haven't been caught but because the law isn't applied. You don't go to prison for preaching the gospel in Iran, despite it technically being illegal to preach christianity to muslims with the intent to convert them (this law has never been applied) - the only christian clerics who have been prosecuted were evangelical protestants that were charged with espionage.
