I know plenty who would love to drink smoke or gamble but can't afford to do that because they are dealing with sky rocketing mortgage and rent which is leaving less to spend on sky rocketing grocery prices and even less for higher utility costs like gas and water not to mention electricity. My electricity costs have risen by over $300 a quarter since ScoMo left office and most of that in the last year. But hey enjoy your lobster with your "mixed" family like saying mixed actually means a damn thing to anybody who is doing it tough in Australia these days. We don't care who is what nationality, we want to be able to afford to live and feed our children.

It's funny that when Trump is in power Albo considers the national interest and when the neocons are in power he doesn't, very selective of Albo; the PM is a hypocrite and the wrong PM for the job. But I don't agree with the sentiment that we should prioritise the views of our allies either. Our national interests come first and they should be determined by us and not the US or any other foreign government, but none of the recent governments have done that. Our biggest problem is that our past and present governments behave as if we were a US colony, regardless of who is president.
