I'd like to add some context to this being born and bred Lebanese. We fucking LOVE Anthony. He was one of the few that understood us. We consider him one of us, and we don't give that distinction to many people.

My neighbor was doing some construction work on his house and had rubble piled up in his yard and I said "Wow, it looks like Beirut around here". The carpenter said"actually I've been to Beirut and it is beautiful, except for the few areas that the media films." That surprised me and it's just something I remember. Looks like he was right.

Im from chile.. I know that the middle east is like a different world to.me.. But i love israel.. Netanya. Tel aviv. Haifa. Eilat... Jerusalem.. The west bank. Jordan. And i also like beirut and tyre.. Tripoli.. And i wish for peace.. Territores for the states are fr more important than the people that live in those territores.. And thats fucked up.. So i want peace and understanding..

If by "fighting back," you mean punishing thousands of civilians for the actions of a few militants. This is what happens when you start a country based on a religion that has such a heavy emphasis on collective punishment.

alot of pro israel on here..thats fine im a proud american and i stand beind israel...but remember, lebanon is not like other countries in the middle east, first off being that its 40 percent christian, and that its food is the most talked about and originated in all the middle east...that includes the israelies that claim they invented hummus...watch this whole episode and watch the wonder of food and culture that can only come out of beirut...not israel
@yerk312 жыл бұрын

and secondly, there are always bad comments in the media about lebanon...anthony is trying to show what beirut is, and what it wants to be...its sad that hezbollah is there..and the christians in the country cannot overthrow them...but there is alot of good in lebanon...if you watch this whole episode, you will see that anthony is trying to show the good of lebanon....not why did he not go to israel....because he knows the good food is in lebanon....lol

I cant believe how you justified these horrendous actions by Israeli army with your comment! Dont even get started on the "humane" side of your army, because you know you are going to lose on that front, just dont even get started on this!
@edanhollombe12 жыл бұрын
Well I guess you don't want to hear it because you know it is true and it's easier for you to blame Israel than to actually face the fact that Hezbollah caused the war. The Israeli army goes to great lengths to teach it's soldiers about the moral aspect of being a soldier. And like I said - name me ONE other army in the world that gives warning before bombing during a war...

@edanhollombe12 жыл бұрын
Those "few militants" had more (and still do) military capabilities than the entire Lebanese army. When the Lebanese govt took no action against Hezbollah, what was Israel to do - sit back and let them kidnap our soldiers and then bomb our towns? And did you know that the Israeli air force dropped flyers warning which neighborhoods would be bombed well before they actually bombed them? What other army in the world does that? Please name just one...
@Theman2664211 жыл бұрын
I'm starting to think Anthony sympathizes with Muslims....don't get me wrong, nothing wrong with visiting Beirut, Kuwait, etc., but I can't believe he hasn't visited Israel.
