ANTHONY CACACE blitzs JOE CORDINA in eight rounds to become IBF super-featherweight champion.

In what many consider a major upset, 35 year-old Belfast fighter, Anthony Cacace, forced a stoppage in eight rounds against Wales' IBF champ, Joe Cordina. This was Cordina's first defeat, and at 32, he might find it hard to re-group. For Cacace, an Indian summer of a career (and hopefully some fat pay-cheques) beckon.

Cordina never recovered from that first knock down. Cordina took way way way to many punches. His corner was really bad also.

Love Joe but he often won't make adjustments to prove he can beat people at their own game and he came unstuck. Thought Simms was bad in the corner too

What a performance what a fight wow. I knew he was going to win when he chose that intro song “Zombie” that only Irish and men with real hearts know the reason behind its message. I could be wrong but thats what I felt and Big Joe you can ask your yellow shirt mate✊
