Its heavily hard to get 100 catches with 9 balls. 200 is beyond most peoples skill level, let along 300.

I can - it’s incredible. If you look at the hands and precision throw it’s amazing.

Let's add to this his enormous and diverse skill set in all prop disciplines. His magnetism and ability to emote into his live performances. Not to mention the ice water that runs in his veins during high-pressure situations. I just don't see anyone having all of these assets on the level he possessed. I've been trained by him and watched him practice up close numerous times and he's just that good. He'll break an average of 10 world records every time he practices. #goat

Just for context. gatto learning 4 clubs at 8 years old, his first try: "He spent some minutes getting used to starting and stopping 2 clubs in each hand. He got all 4 and gave it a few tries. Each failure just made him more determined. Nick helped him focus his anger and frustration into thinking about what he was doing wrong, what he should be doing, and then doing it. Within 10 minutes of picking up the 4 clubs, he was making 4 to 6 throws consistently, in a nice pattern. In the next 10 minutes, we watched his longest run go steadily from 6 to 10 to 15 to 20 and to 30. At that point Nick told him to stop, and work on something else.

Is this record breakable? I see the next person on the list has 152 catches.

@@at8630 Google "juggle fandom wiki balls". Tom Whitfield is listed as #2 on the list with 152 catches. Sometimes they don't update the site quickly though.

Records are made to be broken. It may take some time, but I believe this record will fall. I just watched a video on the 11 ball back and forth and it’s pretty amazing, especially since Enrico Rastelli held a 10 ball flash and that stood for decades and decades

I"ve been waiting for the next generation to show up and take things to the next level. There was some really good momentum in the 2005-2015 timeframe, but it feels like the main jugglers from that era didn't stick with it. Also: Gatto was a classical/circus juggler more than strickly a numbers/siteswap/sport juggler. I'm a bit concerned that we won't see another like him. He started when he was YOUNG and did more or less the same thing for 35 years. I can't see how a future talent like his would get the support needed to develop in a way that would surpass his legacy. [sigh].

How is this possible? This record was 2006, before my brother was born by 5 years!
