Allergies are weird. I grew up with cats and then when they weren't around I became allergic to cats and now I'm not again. Ten years or so ago I had no seasonal allergies at all and now I do. It's all very vexing 🤨

Great playing, Paul....comme toujours, bravo. Big like 16. 'Capcut'...this is chinese to me.... My next upload ( I recorded it but it is for next month as I spend time away, without guitar) ....I almost gave up: first no image...and later, again, sound problems. I am actually facing problems each time I try to record. So you know, some of us have also to deal with crazy situations. Joseph

Very nice, Sir Paul! Nice, laid back groove and as always, a very melodic guitar solo! I met someone recently that utilizes "Capcut" also. He said he loves it - but I honestly can't remember his name - but I do know that he's from your side of the pond.

I hope you're well. 5/4 (or 10/8) can be great fun to play with and it does tend to break up my usual mindset and makes me play more thoughtfully... as long as I don't lose the 'one' - Of course this may all be in my imagination and perhaps I was just in a good mood 😊 I expect Capcut will get easier the more I use it but it does seem to work slightly differently every time so far. Heigh ho!

@@PaulMcCaffreyfmac One of the most difficult exercises I did a couple years ago was playing in 5/4 and accenting alternately between the 2 and the 3! I never truly got comfortable doing that one.

Thanks Trina. Yeah! the Tele is from a handful of years ago when Fender had their P90 attack with the 'Noventa' series - a ridiculously ugly three pickup Jazzmaster, a fairly ugly two pickup Strat and this rather pretty Tele which is a kind of Les Paul Jnr equivalent I guess. 18 or so years ago I had a set-neck Tele with two P90s and this has some of the vibe of that guitar. I like it 🙂

Hi Frank. Thanks again. I quite enjoy 5 and 7 as times to play in. I know it keeps people interested for 30 seconds longer until they work out what's going on 😂 - Seriously though. As long as the '1' is a definite beat or note you can always stop and pick it up next time round. The Tele feels really nice to play but with this pickup (like a Les Paul Junior) it is a very different sound. If I had to choose between this and my purple Tele I would go for the Tele every time.

Thanks so much for the kind words. I appreciate it. I recently replaced my Windows based laptop with a Chromebook ( bigger screen for a third the price and quite nice to use mostly) and you have to use Google programmes to do things. Capcut is Google's video editing software and though it seems to do a lot I am still having a lot of trouble making it do the things I want. It seems to have a bit of a mind of its own.... which is great in a friend or a partner but not great in an app 😂

I'm your age (we chatted before) and I'm a bit wary and even somewhat distainful of certain tech these days. Should try to be more positive but then my personality might be MIA.
