I fell deeply in love with Jodie and wanted to see everything Anthony Hopkins was in. I remember the whole audience gasping and screaming in the theater at certain moments in the film...and on our walk back to the car afterward (at night in the dark), everyone who was also leaving the theater was walking close with their families together, almost paranoid about who was in the darkness. I just watched Silence of the Lambs again and then this interview. Clarice was so brave and Lecter so menacing. These two played them perfectly. I can’t describe how much I love Sir Anthony and how proud he makes me to be Welsh. And Jodie Foster may not think of herself as an actor but she’s gifted and was born to bless us with her talent. Lovely see them both again - Hii Tony and his scary Bye Clarice 👏🏻

Anthony Hopkins is absolutely one of my favorites ! The level of skill and talent this man has is mind blowing. The fact that he can just learn the lines on paper and have the out come that he does without going “ method “ I mean he could be the best !! These two characters in silence of the lambs are a match made in heaven. Such a joy to watch

Loved every word. Two exceptional talents, together again. It will be a terribly sad and tragic day...when we learn Sir Anthony has been taken from us. Terribly. He's truly a living legend.

Jodie Foster is an actor of exceptional talent, depth and beauty who was always ahead of her peers, by the time actors of her age were in their diapers she was making commercials, by the time they learned to speak, she was making movies for Disney, by the time they starting going to the school, she was winning awards and getting nominated for the Oscars, by the time they decided to enter films, Jodie decided to leave it behind and enjoy the ivy league world which she graduated with magna cum laude, by the time her peers had their breakthrough she already had won two Oscars and transitioned to the director's chair. An extraordinary talent, who's contribution to cinema is unparalleled and exquisite. A sheer gift to the world of acting and filmmaking

I'm so glad he's doing well. I was fortunate to have had breakfast and a nice long chat with him about life in August of 2000 in Charleston, SC. He is such a gentleman, kind, extremely talented of course and insightful. Jodie is a great actor as well. Loved this interview.

Jodi Foster is one of my all-time favorite people/actors. Throughout her career, I grew up with her from a child to an adult. She has been like family since we are the same age, although we never meet! I have enjoyed watching her life as an actress, and every year she gets better and better. I have also watched Anthony Hopkins' many films and have enjoyed the power he projects into his characters. I haven't heard about the Father or The Mauritanian; thanks, I'll be watching them as soon as I can.

Always admired Hopkins lighthearted approach to acting, especially when so many actors take their method (and themselves) so seriously. You can clearly see he had so much fun playing that character, the glee he has reliving it in this interview.

The route that Jodie took from being a child star, to a amazing director and actress, to her bravery with her personal life, her kindness and genuine qualities show in this interview. Shes fair, considerate and fair. A true director. Anthony saved me from my alcoholism, his voice and actions; from being a painter, poet, actor, addict ... his voice and soul has saved me. Hes an idol of mine. They both deserve happiness and health cause they're good people, but their work and efforts have saved my life. Bravo to Vanity for the idea. Bravo to the actors. Round of applause of decent people. Very thankful to have lived a life having their talents and wisdom. Bravo. If they ever read this comment: Thank you for being you.

The best piece of advice I ever got from Anthony, when preparing for a role is to read the script (all of it) 100 times. I did that when I was offered the lead in Picnic. I'd read Stanislavski, but never acted before. I only flubbed my lines once, the last night. My costar covered for me. Thanks Anthony! I'd encourage anyone to get involved with local theater. It's Marvelous.

I do think there are still some out there who are in it for the art. Especially if you also look outside Hollywood. But sadly those movies don't get as much attention and there are WAY more ordinary actors and movies out there. Quality gets overpowered by quantity. But there are still some very talented artists left in my opinion

Silence of the Lambs is one of those movies that you kind of forget about for a while, then notice it's on TV that night, so you watch it again and realise all over again just what an incredible film it is. I don't know why I don't ever seem to think of it when I list my favourite movies, because it's definitely one of my all time favourites. Kinda strange that I keep forgetting about it. Maybe it's because of psychological scarring from Anthony's amazing performance, haha.
