Before AJ vs Ruiz 1, I watched Ruiz’s back fights, it was immediately apparent that virtually no-one other than a full grown bear could stand up to Ruiz’s blows, I’m not a gambling man but I had to put a £10 bet on Andy just for the hell of it. I didn’t see any of the experts give any credit to Andy on the run up to the fight, and I remember the dull McCracken being surprised afterwards at AJs loss, I think he said it was a shock defeat, nope! not a shock to anyone who did their research properly!
