The guard of AJ was a disaster.
@herecomesthemoney122012 сағат бұрын
The whole night for AJ was a disaster, he is so stiff, literally throws the same left right over and over again... As soon as someone puts it on him he doesn't want the smoke. Obviously a good fighter but not good enough, Eddie gifted him his career picking the right fights and he hasn't improved in any way.

The Arab sitting by the ringside was a disaster too. Check him sequence 8:40. He made a sign of cutting the throat of someone. @herecomesthemoney1220

That along with his clumsy big shots that repeatedly left him exposed were the keys to this loss. Even by his standard, I thought it was poor - bafflingly so.

Well said . Love this kid . Could not have happened to a better kid . He dropped Usyk IMHO . Usyk and his corner quit and robbed effectively. He won’t escape twice and I like Usyk . He is a great fighter .

the heavyweight division is and has been non existant for years. none of the heavyweights today could live in the same ring as the past champions. lennox lewis as an example in his prime would have destroyed anyone around today and imagine tyson in his prime vs aj or fury please dont pretend they would last a round or 2.

@eddy_creative15 сағат бұрын
For sure there's a case for 90s boxers. Lennox, Tyson, Evander (in cruiser/bridger he would stay champ forever lol), Riddick Bowe, even heavy handed guys like Tommy Morrison, David Tua etc. However, Usyk is top tier, and Fury is so huge that i do think he could compete with 90s quality talent. All the other guys like dubois, bakole etc, its debatable, but i think they would be competitive to some degree.

Mike Tyson NEVER BEAT A LEVEL OPPOSITION. He lost to BUMS I even dont know the name of. You watched highlights of his knocking out bums while doing flashy shadow boxing suddenly he is the greatest thing you ever seen. Yes Lennox is one of the greatest ever but remember he got knocked out by Oliver McCall and Hasim Rahman. Fury and Usyk are 2 great heavyweights. Even according to boxing legends but your the boxing expert right?

Joshua looks annoyed but frightened in my opinion. His face lacked confidence. I think he was so scared of defeat he failed to fight. He was the one intimidated by the young Mike Tyson like fighter in front of him. He lost the fight before the first bell.
@FactsandReelsForall3 сағат бұрын
Exactly. What happened to him i don't know at all. He lost before the fight itself. I think AJ knew he had no choice and had to face Dubois. He tried to scare him before the fight and tried to use his mind on him but it didn't work. AJ looked like a b**ch even before the 1st bell. I think he knew Dubois was a threat and tried mind games only to fail. Also, AJ can't fight when an opponent puts pressure on him like DDD did. He's one of the weakest heavyweights of all time.

Daniel is a quick fighter. And that's not the style of AJ. Dubois would beat AJ any day any time. AJ looked like a complete underdog in the ring. IT WAS BEATINGS FROM ROUND ONE TO ROUND FIVE. IT WASN'T BOXING.

DD's fighting mentality is very good in this fight. Because, DD's fighting mentality is one of his weaknesses so far. This is the coach's job to hone DD's steel mentality as a fighter. If DD has a fighting mentality like A Usyk, then it is not impossible that he will become a true heavyweight champion, because he is still young.

Anthony Joshua faced a formidable opponent in Daniel Dubois, who showcased superior strength and speed in every aspect of the fight, from defense to striking. Joshua made several glaring mistakes that he failed to address during the bout. He neglected to protect his face adequately, and his footwork was noticeably sluggish. By keeping his head exposed, he gave Dubois a clear opportunity to deliver a knockout blow.
@Notpoop90612 сағат бұрын
Low blow rule needs totally reevaluating. If there difference between low and not low is having to be broken down pixel by pixel then there's no way the ref can see that in real time. Even in this fight the ref was calling LEGAL body shots low blows. The whole thing is ridiculous. Low blow should be anything from (and including) the pubic bone and below. Anything else is a body shot. You have abs there...
