For those who were in the room when this happened, she had totally be flirting with him, and had demanded a kiss, threatening to not attend the show (with a clear hint that she'd stick around after the show... aka into the night, as she occasionally did with her favorite musicians). The part he got wrong was that she didn't mean to do it when the cameras were rolling. So this was not about him disregarding her wishes. It took him a moment to shift gears after being very surprised by what he saw as a sudden change of instructions. In the video, she clearly states that she has requested a kiss, and that she was worried about it looking bad to her boss, or to other jealous female fan viewers that she had abused her professional capacity to access this highly sought after rock star dude. Seriously... listen to the words she said, and he said. That's what happened. This was well known about at the time, among those in the music scene in Toronto.
