All I see is another great wrestler, preforming his practiced and perfected style with confidence and knowing that the work has paid off. I don't see a man with one leg, as I said all I see is another great wrestler joining the elite group of NCAA wrestling champions. Everyone has a handicap, mentally which isn't so obvious, or physically which can be pretty obvious. Regardless he did something most wrestlers will never accomplish. I actually watched that match on TV live which was amazing I was impressed, him beating the defending champion at that weight, from one of the most distinguished/ decorated wrestling schools in wrestling history.

One of the all time great sport stories. Some say he was at a disadvantage at first because he was missing a leg and then when he started to win they said he had an advantage because of his upper body weight. The truth is that he took his strengths and leveraged them and took his weaknesses and didn't focus on them but minimized them. The training he put in made him great, and it was his fearless mind that made him special.

Remarkable to win a NCAA title but without a leg is outstanding

It would of been interesting to see him wrestle at the world level in freestyle I bet the Russians would've had a hard time beating him but he retired after Nationals and became a hell of a wrestling announcer and an author of course. This guy is awesome!
