Nice story. Mr. Writer it’s obvious to me that your English is good. I just have one positive suggestion. When you use the word “did” in your sentence, the following verb should be in the present tense. There were at least 3 times when you had them in the past tense. So instead of saying “I did understood “, the correct way is to say “I did understand”. Take it or leave it, it’s just a simple grammatical rule I wanted to share with you.
