He was suffering from insomnia and anxiety long before the role and he was taking medication. His friends and family spoke about him having a lot of fun on set, too. So yeah, his death is very sad but it had nothing to do with Joker.

Ok, this is a tough subject, but please everyone talk to your partner and loved ones what you want if you are in a coma or are unable to speak for yourself in a critical medical condition. Discuss what level of extrodinary treatment you want. I was in this position with my late wife. She had a clot move into her heart and treatments just hastened the end and prognosis was bleak to zero. In this slice of hell what I had was that we had talked about this. I knew her wishes, her reasons, and respected her decision. It hurt so bad but I had make the decision to stop treatment. I knew what she wanted to guide me through, to help me make the right drcision for her. I know this is heavy, but talk about it not for yourself but to help your loved ones who may be having to make these horrible choices. You don't know when it may happen, it doesn't matter being young or healthy, tragedy can happen.

14:00 I think part of the reason Sage brought Firecracker in was exactly because of the religious aspect. In the show, it's been a base that Annie has always had the support of. Challenging her at it and using it to work for Vought instead puts doubt in Annie's silent supporters. The reveal later more than likely tips the entire base.

There is insufficient evidence to support any effectiveness of metoclopramide in increasing milk production and any such prescription is considered "off label". However, metoclopramide is also used to help with nausea and vomiting caused by acid reflux, and do you know what can cause acid reflux? Purging due to bulimia.

I think the implication when Homelander left Barbara in "The Bad Room" surrounded by her dead coworkers, door welded shut, was that when young John was left in the room for long stretches of time, he'd give in to one of his other personalities and then hallucinate/fantasize about murdering them all in that room. Throughout the show we've seen that Homelander really enjoys being covered in blood. That would explain why

Also, I think one of the strong points of this show is that it makes you understand why people, especially the villains do what they do without making them sympathetic. For example, you can understand why Homelander is the way he is but the show never goes, "And this is why it's fine for him to be a psychopath." Nope, the guy needs to go down and the show doesn't shy away from telling you that. Anyone else get the feeling that Sage is doing what she is doing out of sheer boredom? Like she couldn't care who wins or loses at the end of the day. She just wants an interesting game to play. It's all kicks and giggles to her.

That line "outraged for reasons they can't even explain" needs more love. Most of the people outraged by 'wokeness' cannot define it. Most of the people outraged by LGBTQIA+ issues don't know a (openly) trans person nor have they any clue as to the issues surrounding that. Season 4 won't be eligible this year, because the window of eligibility for the 76th Primetime Emmy Awards was June 1, 2023 - May 31, 2024. But yes, it was an Emmy-worthy performance and he should get serious consideration for next year's awards.

I think you're right that the 7 arent' as strong. But I'm not sure it's because of the reasons you said. I think the real win this episode was A-train. Not just because of his relationship with Hughie, but because every time he moves against Homelander and survives it helps to make it easier the next time. And I'm still not convinced that Sage is really working with them as much as it seems.

(Cows aren’t cannibals) Fantastic reaction! I think part of that ability to balance humor and drama (and horror) is also that there is a singular idea for the tone of each character. Like there might be a funny moment with Homelander, but he is ALWAYS terrifying. The *writers* know who these characters are so we do too. You’d be hard pressed to be able to swap around everyone’s lines and it still feel right. A lot of shows nowadays could because the characters don’t have a distinct voice

Starlight is an ex member of the 7 who sucker-punched the newest member. Easy counter-spin there to the idea that Firecracker isn't strong. She's not though, and eventually that'll catch up to her. I gotta rewatch that fight, I don't remember Kimiko and FC actually getting that much fighting in.

I don’t think Firecracker is up to Annie’s level. She’s an entertainer, Annie’s a crime fighter. And she was doing it on her own, which is how she proved herself Seven material without going to Godolkin. Firecracker is low end entertainment tier. Strong enough for a brief tussle, but not up for an extended fight. Plus, Annie did the smart thing and sucker punched her, immediately stunning her and making her more vulnerable to follow up shots. Butcher (and Jack Reacher) would approve. I don’t think having the snot kicked out of her was in Firecracker’s plans, but I’m sure Sage knew it would happen. It was a step too far and she knew it where Firecracker probably didn’t. She thought Annie was there to talk. She was not.

Well, she's strong enough to break Hughie's arm without effort, or to rip a guy's head off or to peel the face off of another or to cause enough damage to Stormfront that she needs to use her lightning to get away from her. The writers are a bit inconsistent showing her power level particularly on fight scenes, but there enough moments of Kimiko showing super strength for us to confidently add it as a feature on her powers card.
